I AM A RETIRED PLUMBER. BACK ISSUES WOULDNT LET ME DO THE JOB. THE PLUMBER(ART) DID A PERFECT JOB.TOOK OLD TOILET AND BOXES WITH HIM TO DISPOSE. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH HIS WORK.

Use Horizon if you absolutely have to, and make sure you are home when they do the repairs or they will over charge you guaranteed.
Our waste line was backed up so they came out and cleared the line on a Friday evening. I was not home but my nanny was, so I knew when they arrived and when they left. When they called for payment they were overcharging me by an hour. When confronted they reluctantly dropped the charge back to a one hour charge (they were there less than an hour). By Sunday morning the clog was back so I called them up and they came out and cleared the line again, no charge. By Monday morning the issue was back again so the owner himself showed up with a camera and discovered that the backwater valve was damaged. He quoted me a charge of $500-$600 for the repairs. They arrived the next morning, again I left the house in charge of the nanny as I had to go to work. They told me if I cleared the bushes and dug the hole to the line the charge would be exceptionally less. So I did. Later that evening I got the call for payment and the charge was $650. I demanded to know how on earth it could be that much since I was initially quoted less plus I shaved a couple hours off their labor with my own efforts. The secretary told me she'd call me back after speaking with the owner. 15 mins later she called back with the story - they were again over-charging me on the labor (3 hours instead of the actual 2.5 hours) and a hefty $250 extra charge for the camera work the day before, which took them less than 10 minutes to perform.
Again, use them if you absolutely have to and make sure you're home watching the clock cause they will overcharge you.

Overall very good. However, the man they had sent out previously, a different plumber with their company-
I wasn't quite as impressed with. He arrived 45 minutes late, routed out the line for an hour, and advised me I needed to replace the clean-out for 4 to 5 hundred, and charged me for 3 hours after a real total of 1 hours and 45 minutes of work, claiming he was not charging me for the extra hour?
He was much slower than the second plumber, and wasn't quite as professional, but still did a decent job- but it started leaking and bubbling again several days later. Hence the review above for the second visit.

They were very prompt and clean which I really liked.

HE DID A GOOD JOB OF CLEANING OUT THE DRAINS. THE WATER FLOWS DOWN THEM A LOT FASTER AND SMOOTHER NOW. HE ALSO MADE SURE TO CLEAN UP AFTER HIMSELF WHEN HE FINISHED WORKING.
