The company came out to service my furnace. After servicing, the technician stated that I had a leak in the furnace and probably a carbon monoxide leak. He came in the home and tested no carbon monoxide leave. He then wrote up his paperwork, came back in my home and proceeded to tell me he had no choice but to turn off my pilot and disconnect my furnace. I asked he why he did not inform me of his actions beforehand. He stated he did not owe me an explanation and did not have to inform me of his actions. When I called the office, the receptionist proceeded to tell me that the technician did not owe me an explanation. I stated he offered no service options. The reception stated I got all the options I needed and they did not have to explain anything to me. I contacted the gas company who came out and stated there was no carbon monoxide leak but he coulded assess the furnace to see if there was a leak. I contacted the supervisor who then stated the technician told him when he turned on the furnance during servicing, that flames were rolling outsid of the furnance (not true) and that my home had a serious carbon monoxide leak. He then stated the only option for repair that I had was to replace the furnance because my unit was too old. He then informed the technician from the gas company that their technician had disconnected the electrical wiring from furnance so that it would not ignite. At no time during the service call was this explained. Hill and company left me with no heat and no way to heat my home and no options to address the problem. The repercussions from their actions could have affected my health, broken water pipes. To endanger my health and feel you don't owe the customer and explanation is reprenhensible. The treatment by the staff was so unprofessional. I would never recommend this company ever in life. The worse part of this, they have service our heat and air for at least 10'years if not more. If this is how they treat a regular customer imagine how they would treat a first time customer. DO NOT USE HILL AND COMPANY. YOU WILL BE IN THE COLD LIKE ME WITH NO EXPLANATION AND GIVEN NO OPTIONS.

They not only did an outstanding job they beat the price of everyone else for this Trane unit.I last used them to service the unit for winter.They are very thorough and always explain what they have done.I highly recommend.

We had got three quotes for replacing our A/C . Hill sell Trane equipment the other two companies sold Lennox. The quote from Hill was very good and we had installed a Trane variable speed furnace upstairs about 5 years ago and were pleased with it. We went with Hill because of cost and the brand of equipment. They were able to install quickly and were very efficient. We did have a number of teething problems with the furnace/ air flow and required multiple return visits until it was working at maximum efficiency. Some of the problems were avoidable. That is why I gave them a B for quality. However they were great people to deal with and we don't regret using them.

The tech called before he came to the house (as promised by the dispatcher) and showed up on time. He went about his work quickly and finished in a timely manner. I hate to give all "A" ratings when I don't reallly know if the price was fair or not - I have not had any air conditioner repair work done recently. I called a relative who had had similar work done and he seemed to think the total price was reasonable since those motors that are designed to run full-time like that aren't cheap. Other than the sticker shock, I have no complaints about the experience.
