I/t took several months before he contacted me, then he came right out to do an estimate. The reason I had him do the/ work was because I did not want to replace several windows and he said he would re-glaze them for me. I had to work every day on the week his workers came out to do the work so was not there to supervise. I was a widow and alone at the time and I think he just thought he could put one over on me. One of the most important aspects in painting is the prep work. The people he sent out did not do a good job of the prep work and everything that they put the coating on was not cleaned as it should have been. They also got drips and splatters all over the rock that is on my house and on the board they replaced on my picture window was a defective piece of wood that had a big flaw in it. On things like this, I do not think they put the coating on, I am sure they used Baer paint because I saw the cans. On a door bottom that was supposed to be covered, they put the paint on dirty wood and it has come off. It was paint and not the coating. When he called me to see how I thought the work was and was I happy, I told him I was not happy that I was appalled with the poor job and was not happy. He actually got mad at me on the phone and was so aggressive that I was almost afraid of what he might do. He told me that I was just a deadbeat who was trying to get out of paying him and he hung up on me. I guess after he got to thinking about it, he called me back. I told him that it was an extremely poor job and that they did not re-glaze my windows. He tried to tell me that he did not even know what re-glazing meant and I told him that he wrote it right on the contract that he would re-glaze the windows and how could he not know what re-glazing meant. The reason I had him do the job in the first place was that he would re-glaze my windows and the other company I got a bid from wanted to only replace the windows. He sent his workers back out and they tried to just put putty over the old glazing. I stopped them and told them that was not the way it was supposed to be done and they were not to continue. The workman told me that Robbie did not pay them enough to actually remove the old glazing material and put in new because there was always some glass breakage and they had to pay if they broke a pane. When he called to get his check, I told him I would pay him the amount for the coating that was on the estimate the other company gave me since the windows were not re-glazed. I was afraid to meet him somewhere besides a public place so I met him in a parking lot in Sand Springs. When I met him, I gave him a DVD with all of the pictures that I took of all of the problems I was talking about. He later called me and said "I see what you mean'. That does not get all the paint off of the rock on my house. The coating was put over steel siding except on the ceiling of the carport where it is peeling and I am sure it is because they did not clean it before applying the coating. I am not stupid, I know a good job when I see it and this was NOT a good job, He is also overcharging according to the other quote I got. I am not a happy camper.
