Very well. They thoroughly inspected the engine, listed everything that needed attention, or would soon need attention, itemized by price and prioritized by "now" or "later". I thought I needed a new windshield wiper blade, but they just straightened the bent arm, and tightened a screw (no charge) saving me the cost of a new blade. Plus, they drove me home when I dropped the car off, and came and picked me up when it was ready!

Greg is the most honest and fair mechanic I've ever met. I trust him with all my automotive needs. This past winter when I was on my way home from Ohio my transmission went out. I called Greg and he helped and advised through the whole process of getting it replaced in St. Louis. He has always gone over and above to be fair, honest and reasonably priced. Given that he is always busy, but I will wait however long it takes so he can work on my vehicles.

I declined to have further work done and was presented a bill for $ 196.27 for two hours diagnostic work. When I complained , it was explained to me that all the and quot;betterand quot; repair shops and dealers charge $90 / hour. They claimed that they have very expensive testing equipment that was used on my car following an elaborate fault tree checklist to test voltages and currents of all components. The bill that I was presented did NOT have a computer printout of voltages, nor did it have written notes from the mechanic. The only item on the bill concerning the ignition was an entry that stated and quot;Gash started the car three times - all of which didn't have a problemand quot;. A list of 7 other items was recommended for repair.: rear brakes, possible front main seal leak, radiator leak, etc. None of these items have anything to do with starting. I took the car to an and quot;inferiorand quot; competitor who diagnosed and repaired the car in less than one hour. The and quot;inferiorand quot; mechanic replaced the ignition coil and the crankshaft sensor. The car has worked just fine ever since. The and quot;ignition control moduleand quot; hasn't been touched.

"Unfortunately like always not the whole story was told. But that's OK, I work hard to take care of customers and be honest & fair. Ive always stated to customers that if there is a issue or concern that they can call me night holidays or weekends. I'm human and not always perfect but I'm always willing to correct any issue that are brought to my attention. There was another party involved in this car repair and informed customer if he wasn't happy that we needed to discuss any issue. Customer nothing. I'am sorry you feel that way Mr. Kitchens."
