Discover Floor & Design quoted me verbally which was a problem. We got to talking and this is a part-time business for him. He was only able to paint in the evenings. That didn't suit my schedule. He was prompt. I gave him my e-mail address and his office manager never did get back in touch with me.

I used this company twice: first in my kitchen, then in an upstairs dry sink area. During my first experience, Randy, owner of Discover Floors, was helpful in selecting tiles for my kitchen backsplash. He provided an estimate that was exactly what he charged me. His staff arrived on time for the job and completed the work when they said they would. Discover Floor was the best vendor for my kitchen countertop remodel experience. Fast, professional, courteous, competent. I used them again for my upstairs dry sink are using the same travertine tiles for a backsplash. This time I had to call twice to verify scheduling. This was a very small job -so fitting me might have been a harder task. The job was done well at a cost that seemed a bit high considering the small area to be done in comparrison to the kitchen job. This might be due to minimum servce call charge, I never asked and did not get pricing until after the job was complete. I still feel using this company was the best decision and I am very satisfied with the experience. After having some really bad contractors in my home, it is nice to know there are people you can trust to do a good job at a fair prce and Discover Floors is one of them! Randy even sealed my granit sink fo rme and left a bit of sealer for me to use in the future.
