Auntie Dee's Pet Sitting

Dee did an excellent job. She loved my pets and it was great to go on a trip and not have to worrying about my "hairy" children. Not only did she do a wonderful job taking care of my dogs, she also did cleaning around my home. I would definitely use her services again.

She is Awesome! We have three dogs, 14, 3, and 8 months. They all love her! We have use Auntie Dee a few time now and will continue to use her.

Dee is very loving and conscientious. My animals adore her!!! I will continue to use Dee every time we go out of town. Very sweet lady!!

Dee is a delightful person who has a great love of animals. She texted me daily with updates on her visits as well as checked in on my other cat who had to be boarded at the animal hospital because of some health issues. She also got my mail and paper and made sure everything was OK in and around my home. I felt completely comfortable leaving my pets in her care. If you want the very best for your pets, I would highly recommend you call Dee. You can leave with peace of mind. She also will stay in the home 24/7 if you so desire..

My husband and I left town last Friday morning for a long weekend out of town. Auntie Dee came to stay and watched both our 15 year-old Standard Poodle (who is blind, mostly deaf and has some back leg stability issues subsequent to a spinal stroke several years ago) and our 14 year-old Labrador Retriever who has some severe arthritis and hip dysplasia. Auntie Dee catered to all of their special needs and texted at least daily with updates on how the boys were doing. She administered pills, got my very finicky Poodle to eat all of his food, took them on walks, gave them lots of attention, etc. Not only that, but she did some serious cleaning of our home as well. When we got home, not only was the house clean, but she left notes from each day on how things went. I simply cannot say enough about Auntie Dee! She is so reliable and trustworthy. She isn't just a pet sitter, she becomes part of your family. It is WONDERFUL to be able to leave town with complete peace of mind that our dogs are completely safe and loved. The only negative I have for Auntie Dee is that she is so wonderful that you have a lot of competition for her time!

She is amazing. She charges $50 a night but she also goes above and beyond and does all kinds of other stuff while she is here. She cleans my house for me and does laundry. What stands out is how much she loves my animal. She is a true pet lover. I feel totally safe of her taking care of my pets so I feel totally safe with her being in my house. I called another company on Angie's List but she never got back to me so I looked again and found Auntie Dee and called her and she responded immediately. I wouldn't use anybody else.

I have been meaning to write this review on Auntie Dee since I discovered her on Angie's list but have been too busy traveling to do so. I have now used Auntie Dee 3 times in the past six months and I am so happy to have found her. I am very particular about my pets and my home and Auntie Dee does not disappoint. I was a bit nervous having a total stranger from a list stay in my home and care for my pets but after checking her prior references and meeting Auntie Dee I am very happy I chose to use her. Her references were all very positive and I also met her in person before hiring her. Auntie Dee is a very personable woman with a sincere love of animals and a personality that makes you feel at ease having her in your home. One of my dogs is quite elderly and needs extra TLC as he is mostly incapable of walking, needs to be carried outside frequently to relieve himself, has medications to take, eye drops to be administered daily and sometimes has accidents that require clean-up. Dee takes great care of him with his special needs and also cares for my other dog who of course is younger with no medical needs but still has his daily dog needs. While we are away we are always able to reach Auntie Dee by text or calling her direct on her mobile and this is also a plus. If Auntie Dee is going to have a friend over, which she has only done once, she texts you in advance with the persons name asking for your OK, this is also very important to me as I like to know who is going to be in our home while we are gone. In addition to the wonderful care she gives our pets, my home looks better when I get home then when I left it, she is a neat-nick and leaves your house sparkling. This last time she even picked a flower from one of my outdoor pots and had it in a vase to welcome us home. I can't say enough good things about Auntie Dee and I'm always happy when she is available. Leaving your home and pets to travel can be stressful but with Auntie Dee there are no worries, that equals a big plus for my travel plans. Thanks Auntie Dee for doing such a great job and also for being such a good person!!

I have two 14 year-old large breed dogs (one is almost completely blind and partially incontinent) and an 8 year-old Great Dane who recently had her leg amputated and is undergoing treatment for cancer. With all of the extra care our dogs require, boarding is no longer an option for us. We needed to find someone special that we could rely on while we were away on vacation. Auntie Dee = WONDERFUL! I call her the Mary Poppins of pets! She and her grandson stayed at our home and attended to everything (including medication, special food requests, diapering, walking after meals and lots of love and attention). We texted and spoke to her a couple of times while we were away and she set our minds at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation knowing our dogs were well taken care of. When we came home we found three very content, well-cared for and happy dogs! As if that wasn't enough, Auntie Dee had cleaned the house and it was *immaculate*. She even gave our refrigerator a much-needed cleaning. The flowers were watered, yard scooped and her grandson had fixed our broken laundry room door! She also left a journal of what went on during most of the days and it was really nice to read about their activities and how much fun she had with them. I highly recommend Auntie Dee!!

Deanna is GREAT. I have two cats with serious heart conditions and I can relax when I'm on vacation because I know she will care for them like they are her own. Both cats require medication [and don't take it easily] and she is able to ensure they get it. I don't have a nanny-cam or anything, but here's the proof that Deanna is taking good care of my boys: both my cats are HAPPY when I get home and UNAFFECTED by my absence for 10 days! I have had bad experiences with pet sitters in the past and come home to terrified cats--so I'm relieved I can rely on Deanna. Additionally, she's been available with short notice when I had to jet out of town on a business trip. I would unequivocally recommend her.

It was great! I like someone to stay overnight as my kitties are not the independent type. They do not like to be alone. Dee will either stay or do drop in visits. If she stays she likes to keep busy so she cleans for you too. It was so nice to return home to happy kitties and a clean house. She's great. Thank you, Angie!

We always returned home to find our pets happy and our house cleaner than when we left it. We never had any issues with our pets who always seemed sadder to see Dee leave than they were when we left... Any household problems were taken care of swiftly and competently. We always always always felt safe leaving our home and pets in Dee's caring hands.

We were out of town for a couple of days and Aunt Dee's Pet Service came to our home and took excellent care of our two cats. I like it because Aunt Dee came herself. Very personal and loving.

She gave us an option of either staying in the house with our German Shepherd or coming over to feed it. We chose to have her stay at the house. She was very punctual. She absolutely adores animals, and you can tell right away. She is one of those people who seem to have a connection with dogs. I really loved the experience. Our dog was fine when we got home, and you could tell he was happy. I felt comfortable with her being in our home. I found out about her from other people. There were absolutely no problems. She also offered to do housecleaning while she was here. She will do that for you while you are gone, if you wish. She was punctual and reliable. I had no problems getting in touch with her, either on my phone or her cell phone.
