 He took his time, and did a good job.  He guaranteed his work, and said that if I have any problems to call him.  I have not had to have him come back for a resprey.   I will be using him again for an appointment  in October!  Good Job!

Both experiences were very positive.  He took a look at the affected areas, explained what he was going to do and then got it done.  He wrote it up and gave us a written guarantee for his work on the receipt.  The price was very reasonable, especially compared with other pest services (we have experience with Orkin in the past).  I have hired him a second time and will absolutely call him for any future problems.

They were excellent. They did a very thorough job of evaluating the problem. They fixed the problem. Whatever they put down got us rid of the pests.

I was allergic to bees and we had wasps in our house. I would use them anytime! They did a great job. He is very careful to not damage anything with his products.

Since the second spray with the tracking powder, we haven't seen any wasps or hornets. They did a great job and were very patient waiting and watching for each location that the wasps were coming and going from.

He responded very quickly to my "emergency call". We have a major roof construction project in progress and the roofing contractor had uncovered one set of carpenter's ants nests a couple of days previously and used spray that they had to kill them. Then a couple of days later, as they were reconstructing another area of the roof, found additional major carpenter's ants nests and made the recommendation that I should bring in an exterminator as they did not feel they (the roofing contractor) was competent to deal with this level of problem. Found A&R Pest on Angies list, and gave them a call at about 9:00am in the morning indicating I needed to get someone out quickly so that the roofers would not be stalled. A&R indicated he was busy that morning but that he could be there by noon. He informed me of what his flat rate would be over the phone. A&R promptly showed up shortly after noon, went up on the roof and inspected the area where the nests had been, made his recommendation to me, and when I said go, he first used a liquid spray and sprayed both the newly found carpenter's ants nests on the roof and where they had been found on a previous day. He then walked completely around the house spraying along the ground next to the house. He then returned to the roof and also used a solid "ant bait" around the area of the nest, and then again, completely went around the perimter of the house and applied the "ant bait". He gives a one year warranty and indicated that after 15-18 days, to check to see if we saw any ants entering or egressing the house. If there were, he indicated he would come back and treat again if necessary at no additional charge. Have not seen any ants yet, but it is a little hard to know, because didn't really see them before until the roof construction uncovered and disturbed the nests. While the charge may have seemed a little on the expensive side, I believe it was well worth the money given the stories I have heard about some other exterminators. I plan to use A&R regularly in the fall and the spring to treat for carpenter's ants in the future to try to avoid the problems my roof construction uncovered.

They came on time, and did what they said they were going to do. They sprayed the whole house with pesticides and killed all the bugs, right from the basement to upstairs, and did a very good job. The price was fair.

This company came the day after I called them. They put bait out for the mice in the basement. They also put some steel wool in cracks. The mice ceased coming into our house within a week.

He was very thorough inspecting the area. He also explained how he was going to treat the various areas for the different types of ants we had. He gave us a 1-year guarantee on the carpenter ants and a 3-month guarantee on the other types of ants. He also came back for a couple of follow-up visits because of the severity of the ant problem.

WE HAVE NO BUGS SINCE THEY SPRAYED. THEY SPRAYED LAST YEAR AND THE YEAR BEFORE AND THEY ALWAYS DO A GREAT JOB. THEY WEAR BOOTIES ON THEIR FEET (EVEN THOUGH MOST OF THE SPRAYING WAS IN THE BASEMENT) AND THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME. THE ESTIMATE ON THE PHONE WAS EXACTLY WHAT THE CHARGE WAS WHEN THEY DID THE WORK.

They came out on two different occasions. The first time they mouse-proofed our house. They left some traps in the basement, but more importantly they checked the exterior of the house for places where mice might get in. They found and fixed all sorts of places where mice could get in. Ron also had lots of helpful tips. Three hundred dollars might sound like a lot of money, but it wasn't for the amount of work they did! Plus I'm confident that we won't be seeing any mice this fall or winter. On the second occasion, they rodent-proofed our new shed. They attached wire mesh to the back of plastic lattice and then attached it to the bottom of the shed. They also buried the wire mesh in the ground, so that animals can't burrow under the lattice. The result: A great looking lattice skirt around the new shed which also keeps the animals out!

I called Ron because we were seeing evidence of mice, and after several tries at eradicating them ourselves and failing, we knew we needed a professional. Ron was prompt and on-time, and very courteous and informative. I learned more about mice in that hour than I ever thought I'd need to know. We started seeing evidence of the mice taking the bait after the first night. And I'm happy to say, we still appear to have no mice! We hired Ron again this spring because we had had a problem with bees/wasps last year, and with a new baby in the house I didn't want to take a chance. Again, Ron was on-time and very informative. He found five nests in and around our house, and he treated/removed all of them. He also sprayed the house to prevent any new infestation. So far, we've only seen two intruders. We did have a problem with a new nest in one of our soffits, and Ron came out and re-treated the problem area, no questions asked. I highly recommend this company!
