As far as we know the work that was done was satisfactory (no leaks). What we were surprised about was the cost of the job. We needed to tie the water line from the well to a new water line we ran ourself to the the well. Which was approximately 12 inches of pipe that was needed to connect the two together. This job took about 30 minutes but the labor charge was $280.00. There was no digging they had to do as all that was already done. All that needed was the two lines connected together. We thought 280.00 for labor was a little much. But a lesson learned was that we need to ask the cost prior to the job being done.

the provider, "jeff", asked what the problem was. I explained the drain on the side of my house,  where a cleanout is located from my washer to the street was backed up and water was coming out my washer drain pipe.  He kept telling me that the cleanout coming out of the side of my house was not that line. I told him yes it was.because when I open the cleanout the washer water comes out it and not the washer pipe. He asked to see my cleanout in my front yard flowerbed. I adamantly told him nothing in the house was backed up. He kept asking about toilets and tubs? I kept telling him problem was from outside of the other side of my house to street. nothing in my house backed up. He insisted I open the cleanout in flowerbed and go run water and flush toilets.  The water flowed through fine, because of course I had said none of that was clogged.  The assistant that was with him also, questioned why he was checking that cleanout when the stated problem was on the side of the house. We finally moved to the side of house, where he still insisted the washer and sink drain where not supposed to drain there, I told him I had lived there for years and that's where it drains and I had no problem until then, and again told him that was the line that was clogged. He had his assist put the snake in the cleanout finally, and then told me to turn my kitchen sink on. I went in the house and turned on the sink and heard the snake going under my house and ran out and told him again the problem is not under my house!!! it is the other way toward the street. I told him not to mess with the pipes under the sink. I had just had to do repairs there. He said they were not under the sink, they were in drain under house. They hit a spot they couldn't get through after having the snake chew on it for a while, and could not get through it. He said it was a collapse and they must have rerouted to this outside cleanout. I told him I didn't know anything about it. I again stated  Everything has drained fine for years until this current problem. from the outside line to the street.  They finally ran the snake to the street. "Jeff" asked me!, instead of doing it himself to go into the yard and listening for the snake and see how far it was?  It was along my drive way 20 to 30 ft from man hole. I don't know if they ran out of snake or what, but they stopped there and asked me to fill washer and see if it worked.  I asked him if they felt clog, he stated no, but to run washer. I filled washer it ran no backup, so I assumed it was fixed.  He told me it was $190.00. And I feel that was extremely high, for a clogged drain. I knew prices had gone up on everything, but that seemed really high to me.  I assumed the problem was fixed so I paid without question.  After he left, I began to wonder if he had charged me checking my other cleanout and running the snake under my house, neither of which, I had asked him to do.  Then while thinking about this I realized when I paid him, he had me rewrite my check from Jeff's Plumbing to a Joel Morrell and did not give me receipt. I have 3 bathrooms, so it was days later that I went into my guest bathroom and seen black chewed up stuff in my tub!!  I thought maybe it was from them under the house and was a 1 time incident, I cleaned it out and didn't think anymore of it, until a week or so later I went back in there and it was there again.  So now I realize the washer is draining into my tub, because they never unclogged my outside drain.  I called Jeff's Plumbing, Spoke to Jeff and told him he didn't get my drain unclogged, he did something under my house, I didn't ask him to do and now my tub was overflowing. He kept arguing with me that I had a collapse under the house and that's why it wasn't draining. He denied snaking under my house? But yet knows there is a collapse?  He stated they snaked to the man hole, I told him, he did not, because he sent me find out how far it gone and it was not to the man hole.  He told me he opened the man hole and seen the water flowing. I told him he did not he told me he "heard water". He never opened the man hole.  When I kept denying his lies, he stated he doesn't guarantee drains and hung up on me! So now I"m out $190.00, and a new plumbing problem. He was very unprofessional in his work and his response to customer dissatisfaction with his work.

Jeff came out the day my husband called and gave an estimate. He was back the next day with his helper to do the work. I came home to running water; new and neat water lines under the sink, a working garbage disposal and no mess!

He had three jobs ahead of mine to thaw out frozen pipes. He called when he was head my way. He was very nice and pleasant to deal with. After running the drain snake he suggested we have the septic tank pumped as if appeared it might need it.
