Doug and staff were friendly, not rushed, willing to answer all questions for myself and other customers I observerd. Think about it, each customer has a unique set of knowledge (or not) about his/her computing device, errors or problems, and solution options. Doug explained the 2 routes likely to be needed, what the cost of each would be, and answered my questions on pros and cons of each so that I could make an informed choice.
The reinstall of the operating system was completed in the time estimate given when I dropped my laptop off. I had 2 other minor issues that I thought I might resolve while it was in the shop; the guys explained how these were common and not related to my fatal error. They did not try to sell me services unnecessarily. I really appreciated that.
They also load the remote log in function while in the shop, which came in handy when I thought my laptop had a new issue
after service. Doug checked it out while I watched from home, and he explained on the phone what might be happening (unrelated to repair), and low cost workaround vs. high cost repair for touch pad going out (by a mouse!). Thanks, guys!
