Heater went out on a very cold day. Called Metro at 3:00. Technician arrived 30 minutes later! The ignitor had cracked. They had it replaced and back on in about an hour. I have used Jim Williams for 10 years. He and all of his technicians are very knowledgeable and professional.

I met this company at the Oklahoma City Fair a few years ago and saved their flyer. The next year my AC quit working so I called the company that installed it, T&S and they told me I had a leak in my coil and since the technology had changed I would have to replace my entire system. Then I called Metro and they came out and very quickly found that the electrical outlet on my outside wall had shorted out and replaced it for around $200 and I was back to a working AC again. That was 4 years ago, then this year my AC quit working again but this time it was during the hottest week of the summer so far and I thought surely this is the end of the line for my old AC system. Metro sent a repairman out the same day and found a blown capacitor, replaced it for a reasonable fee and my AC has been working fine for almost two months now. The repairman also explained to me that my system could be repaired regardless of what problems occurred and also gave me several estimates on replacement.


08/13/2015 Update:  Okay, my system is now 16 years old and I am well aware that it has passed its life expectancy
so when it started tripping the breaker this week I thought for sure this was the end of the line for it; but, I would rather wait until the weather conditions cool down a bit so that I can get the best deal on replacing my system.   I called Metro and AGAIN they were able to send someone on the same day.  The repair person was extremely knowledgeable.  It took him less than 5 minutes to suspect that the breaker was a 40amp and needed to be a 60amp and sure enough he was
right. When a system gets older it tends to pull a little more current.  My system was rated 38.5 amps so it didn?t take much to trip a 40 amp breaker.  He could have easily told me that the fan was bad or the compressor was shot or
whatever.   He checked everything out and showed me how to change out the breaker which I did for around $12 and the
system is running great.    I plan to call Metro this fall and arrange to have them replace my entire system.  This company is everything you could hope for in a Heat and Air company!

I have used Metro for years. Purchased A/C from them for a previous house in the 90's and again about 8 years ago in different house. I pay for the annual maintenance agreement to get the whole system checked and cleaned twice a year. They call to schedule the service and have always been punctual even though I request end of day appointments. I only remember one system malfunction which was due to ants shorting out a capacitor. This was covered under the annual maintenance and repair was quick and efficient. I also engaged them to do some special work after a flood last year. They did the work quickly and for the quoted price.
