Pat also talked me out if replacing the seals in both of my outdoor faucets. He explained in detail how these faucets were not leaking as I had suspected but just rather draining slowly. He advised against replacing them.
Pat had come out last year and installed a cut off valve for the gas service to my kitchen range and the cost was $140. The overall setup he installed was too large to allow a gas range to be pushed back the wall in the kitchen as the setup stuck out too far. When he returned to fix the under sink issue he flipped the gas pipe direction 180 degrees which allowed the gas range to be closer to the wall but it also put the cut off valve on the bottom of the gas pipe instead of the top and the range was still 4" or so from the wall. In order to turn off the gas for the kitchen range, I would have to literally lean over the kitchen counter so far as to be in a "dive" position behind the range just to turn off the gas. This is not good. He has been here twice about this gas range and the first time he built a cut off arrangement too large to allow the stove within 6-8" of the wall. Now the range is still 4" from the wall but the cut off valve is now on the bottom of the apparatus he built. I will have to either correct this situation myself or hire another plumber to redo what he did.
Pat is very professional but I thought the prices he charged were way too high. Too high for me to consider hiring him again.
We've always been happy with the service and price.
In the past I had trouble with one particular brand-new toilet installed by my renovating contractor due to a bad seal (that likely went bad from my own ignorance) and they worked on it multiple times. Even though the original repair was not the final step in the repair process (I think it required 3 or 4 visits) b/c of damaging cleaning tablets I myself added to the water tank subsequently, Craig and Pat himself made multiple trips to fix this piece of equipment and only charged me once for the visit/assessment fee.
Pat and his employees have always been very professional and trustworthy and on multiple occasions I have even left my home open for them in my absence to make repairs while I was at work and I did not have the slightest bit of concern about my property in my absence. They have been my plumbing company of choice for multiple years now and will continue to remain so.
Always wore boot covers before entering the home to keep dirt from coming in.
Very professional and punctual.
Everything is fixed and working perfectly.
