When we dealt with him on our business, he was extremely reasonable. His service charge would be the hourly rate and the parts. It wasn't that much. He's been really good every time he has come out and serviced us.

Mr. Thrash did a great job from coming onsite to prepare an estimate and recommend a unit all the way through to completion. He recommend the Fujitsu brand, but expressed his willingness to work with other brands if I had a particular one I wanted. I wasn't partial to any particular brand so I checked out the Fujitsu and decided to go with it. I also checked out Mr. Thrash on Fujitsu's web site for recommend contractors. I was pleased to see his credentials were the most impressive of any of the contractors in the area. It made me feel good to see he has a documented relationship with Fujitsu. The installation went well and faster than I expected. The work he did required city permits and inspection. He took care of getting the permits and getting the inspection done. He also took care of registering the unit with Fujitsu.
There were two unexpected problems. First was his supplier could not get the exact model I wanted. The model I want was tied up in customs and the supplier didn't know when it would be released. The supplier had a slightly larger unit in stock. He was able to get his supplier to discount the cost of the unit and split the difference with me. So it worked out that for about an extra $100 I got an extra 3000BTUs.
The second problem was my house has a lime stone facade that is made up of irregular chucks of stone. He found a space in between stones that was large enough for the line set to pass. He drilled through the cement mortar between stones to make the hole. It turned out what appeared to be a small stone ended up being a larger one that was embedded in the cement so it's actual size wasn't obvious. As a result I had a hole about 3 times larger than what he meant to make. There was no argument or anything, he ran the lines through the hole, then he contacted a mason to come out and replace the stone and mortar it back in place. There was no extra charge for this.
I believe Mr. Thrash really does want his customers to be happy with the work he does, and it really shows. I will definitely use and recommend Thrash Mechanical in the future.

Entire process went well. Wayne performed full heat / cooling load calculations on the house after performing an onsite inspection. Equipment and labor estimates provided multiple options from which to choose based on heat load calculations. Options ranges from basic equipment to high efficiency heating/cooling equipment. Estimates for each option were clear and concise. Provider answered questions promptly via e-mail. Installation was completed on date promised. Equipment installation was performed by subcontractor under the supervision of provider. Provider performed all startup checks on the new equipment and also thoroughly explained how to use the new system. It is worthwhile to note that the high efficiency system we chose for our house has a net cost roughly the same as low end equipment due to various rebates and credits available plus the advantage of lowering our utility bills.

My boyfriend and I woke up Sunday morning around 7AM and the thermostat read 80 degrees in the house. We knew it would going to be tough to find someone that would come fix our A/C on a Sunday before a holiday. We have 2 babies under 2 and the weather forecast called for heat close to 100 degrees. My boyfriend was able to find a guy who was willing to come out right away. In less than an hour, we finally had cool air running. He was quick, very courteous, and the price was excellent. We are so thankful that Thrash Mechanical was able to take care of us and definitely recommend him for anyone out there.

They came out and look at the AC Unit and told me that they would give me a call this week for the estimate and that been two week ago.
Response from THRASH MECHANICAL
"The residence was infested with roaches, smelled of feces & urine and was too unsanitary for me to want to do perform a system changeout. I did tell the owner that the other company that gave him the original bid should do the work."

They came out, assessed the problem, ordered a part, and returned the following week to install it. Worked great!

My air conditioning went out late Friday evening. I called Wayne early Sat Morning. He came out and figured out what was needed to fix it, got the parts and I had Air by 11am and he didn't charge an extra fee for coming on the weekend. He also came out last winter at 10pm when it was below 0 and fixed my heater and didn't charge extra. He is very good, honest and accomodating
