MGB Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

I am disabled and my mother was helping me by paying for the system. The owner quizzed me about my disability very condescendingly, stating I didn't look sick, making it known that I was very lucky I could make my mom believe that I needed that much help. Very soon after, the system was not working during a snowstorm. I called and they were very busy and the owner came out and had to replace the thermostat on the wall. He was very rude about it. When we had trouble after that he wouldn't return my calls so we had to call another business out, they stated that the system was wired in wrong and we had to pay to fix it. Five years later we had to replace the system again.

Cleaned it out. Good to go.

The neighbor behind us worked from home and stated he would find a "deal" for all of us as a group rate. He contracted with MGB plumbing who sports a Christian logo on their advertisements. I asked the owner mike what the cost would be and he said around $800 and he would be starting the next day. When I came home during lunch the next day Mike had torn down one of my fruit trees and part of my son's wooden swing set. Not because it was in the way of the sewer tap but because it was in the way of his equipment getting through, without even discussing with me. That night I came home to 3 GIANT holes in my backyard and my entire backyard ripped apart and no cable or internet!! I called him the next day furious and he said oh yeah we broke your utility lines and we'll take care of it(which never happened and we had to do all the calling/appointments on our own to set up again) Plus when asked why my yard was so torn up he said we figured out there were 3 sewer taps in your yard. No one ever called me or spoke to me about what was going on. When I asked who was going to clean up my yard, the owner Mike began screaming, cursing, and saying that he would clean it for $100/hour. A couple of weeks later I got a bill for $1000.00, while all my neighbors with untouched yards had to pay $750!! I called him once again and was told we had to put a "special" tap on yours!! I told him that is not what you quoted me and this was never told to me. I sent him the $800 only that I was originally quoted. It literally took weeks of cleaning to even get the debris out of my yard and to this day there's still a lot of rocks that they dug up that i'm not able to move.

We had a sewer drainage problem. I had used someone else several months before but called MGB this time.  I got an answering service and they returned my call promptly. I explained the problem and Phil said they would be right there. And they were. He and his apprentice worked quite diligently. They were friendly, professional, and let me ask all the questions I wanted. Phil explained everything they were doing to make sure I understood so I could pass the info on to the hubby.  :)
The best possible service was given that day. They even talked to me about what could happen in the future, what that would entail, as well as the possible cost. 
I would definitely use them again.

When our system was installed, I was pleased with the drop in our electric bills going from and old inefficient system to one more energy saving.  I believe that we have had to have MGB back a few times since, once, to replace the new thermostat within days of the installation and another time to clean out and service the outdoor unit.  All of these visits were handled in a reasonable amount of time but this last call went totally unheeded without any explanation and left us with another day of 100+ weather and no air conditioning and then a service call from a different company to fix the outside unit and a pending renovation to fix all the old wiring that was not corrected in the installation of our new unit by MGB.

i called and they came right out.they were very nice and knew what they were doing. the second time they came out and reinstaled some plumbing pipes.overall we were and are happy.thanks plus they gave a senior discount

We were notified in advance of their arrival. They completed the work in a timely manner. They kept the work area cleaned as they went.
