Nickerson's Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

The plumber and his helper showed up and could not figure out what to do or how to do it, they left, went back to their shop and brought the owner back with them, then they figured out how and where to put everything; which did not work where I wanted to have it located. They did not get started until after lunch the first day and left at 4:30p.m. The second day they did not arrive until about 10:30, then left about 4:35pm. We figured maybe 10 or 11 hours for the whole job. They charged us for 17 hours labor, and close to $500 in parts. They told us that the labor included their shopping time to go and get the parts that they did not have. I am an accountant, and I really feel that 'shopping for parts' is a part of business/parts inventory, and that time should not be charged to the customer at $90.00 per hour for two people. Does it really take the plumber and his helper to go to the Plumbing Supply store to get parts--couldn't the Helper go and get the parts while the Plumber is working on the job????? We called and protested the amount of time charged, but they would not reduce it. So we will not be using them again. We still have two bathrooms to remodel--with someone else as the plumber.
They did a good job--but it was way overpriced!!!

It was great. They are booked and hard to schedule.

used Nickerson Plumbers for all sorts of projects and have been well satisfied. I have 160 acre cattle ranch with watering troughs fed by well and over 5000 sq ft 3 story house on rural water system.
