Description of Work: Antique couch and two chairs, which I loved and kept for several years until I could find a good upholsterer. Halls was highly recommended, and he promised to strip down the old couch completely, re-tie the springs and use the fabric he sold me for around $600. He did not strip it down, did not re-tie the springs, but instead covered over the old cushions (there were even black garbage bags inside the cushions, which crinkled noisily, and did not fit right because they were now too big, covering the old material as they did). Mr Hall replaced the cushions because they were unacceptable. He made foam ones which looked better. But within six months the springs are popping out in the back and the support is terrible because the foundation is just not there. I could have overlooked the asymmetrical arm work (and I did), but I could have had two new couches from ikea for the price. I would have taken him to small claims court, and I would have, but he showed up wearing a heart monitor, and I didn't want to kill him, I just wanted the couch I paid for. I recommend Bexley fabrics in Bexley OH. I should have made the trip.
