West Side Cats

I adopted an adorable kitten with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. West Side Cats has lots of normal cats but they usually have some disabled cats as well. I fell in love with this kitten and didn't really care that she was a little disabled. She came with all of her shots. They already had her spayed. The volunteers were so friendly and answered all my questions about her care.
The shelter itself is pretty cool. A volunteer gave me a tour of their shelter. The upstairs has a big cat tree that the cats hang out in and there is a walkway around the rooms for them. It's all very colorful and it's obvious that the volunteers take great care of the cats. I even got to see their infirmary area. They had cats separated into each room depending on what they were there for. They seem like they really know what they are doing.
If I decide to get my kitten a friend, I will definitely be adopting from West Side Cats.

The shelter is beautiful, clean, bright and colorful. It doesn't even smell like other adoption places I have visited. The cats have lots of toys and beds. The other volunteers are very friendly. I've had the sweetest kitten living with me while he heals from an operation that the shelter paid for. He was tossed from a moving car. Soon he will go to his forever home. I highly recommend West Side Cats to anyone looking to foster kittens or who wants to adopt a new friend.
