Stride's Tree Services & Stump Removal

Our elderly neighbor made the mistake of hiring them. We came out of our home because we heard the owner screaming at his employees with "you "F$##$king idiot" and tons of other language that the whole neighborhood could hear. We approached the employees who told us they were his kids. My wife and I, with our neighbor, then approached the owner to let him know he needs to tone down the language. He then told us to "go F%$k yourselves". She decided to not escalate the situation, just let them finish the job and leave. I have the entire conversation recorded for proof. Disgusting behavior, disgusting person. DO NOT HIRE.

Called with no response many times. No one answers phone. Eventually contacted and was told would come out this week. Never came, never phoned. Waited two weeks...phoned again. No response. Continued to call over several days. Finally contact again. Told story and was apologized to...said would come out in next two days. Never showed, never phoned never heard from since. Poorest company ethics I have ever dealt with. NEVER AGAIN.

Stride's Tree Services & Stump Removal did an excellent job.  I had to leave while they were working and the owner told me to go and that if I had any problems just to let him know.  They did a fantastic job.

Does not answer your calls, except for one occasion when he picked up, he said leave your address on my answering, I will come out, but he never did. 

They never returned my call.

His workers were professional, quick and neat. I had concerns about the gas line from my house that ran near one tree. John had utility service mark the lines. A few days after the trees were removed, a gentleman showed up and ground down the stumps. The workers showed up at end of day to clean up and grade the lawn. Overall, I was very happy with the service.

John is a class act and I will only use him in the future. I have acreage and he was very helpful, even explaining to my two sons about the dangers of poisen ivy. His staff is first class and I could not have been happier.

John Stride did a first rate job for us. This job was a large job for a condominium complex. In making his initial assessment, John gave us lots of good advice on his initial assessment, including suggesting that we not take down a couple of the trees we had marked for removal. Really knew his trees. John and his crew were very professional, took the trees down and cleaned everything up. Fair price. First rate job. We'll use them again.

I'd selected Stride after speaking with a neighbor who recommended the company. I called, and Mr. Stride came out to our house early that evening. When he rolled up to our driveway in his bright red convertible Porsche, I was a little concerned about what his rates might be like... In fact, his rates seem very reasonable. For $400, he and his crew took down a dangerous old trunk about 35 feet tall as well as several smaller trunks of new growth coming up from the base; removed a small, dead dogwood; ground the stumps; and cleaned it all up neatly. Indeed, I watched part of the job before leaving the house, and felt confident enough in Mr. Stride and his crew to give him the check before seeing the job completed. Excellent experience overall.

He did an excellent job. There was no damage to the surrounding ground and all debris was carried away. The only issue I had was that he had not contacted me for about two weeks, and then I got a call telling me that the job was all done. Apparently this is his busy season.

John was very responsive and did a great job. We came to our new house that evening and they were gone! All cleaned up. Great work and a fair price, we thought.

All went well. Would hire again.

I would recommend them to anybody. I have no complaints.
