Great experience. Dave and his team were very professional and gave our home the attention to detail that they would give to their own homes. Beautiful job!

Dave met with my husband and me to evaluate the troubled area of our ceiling. We discussed the possible options, as well as the type of paint to be applied over the oil-based paint which we had on all of the areas. I had been delaying this decision because I was so hesitant in knowing what to do. Dave thoroughly explained the process that he recommended, and told me that I should call him back when we decided on going forward, along with the color choices. He and Thad arrived and did the patching along the edges of the ceiling with caulking, that matched the ceiling that was not going to be painted. The painting of the walls and the trim was completed in two days, and we are so very pleased with the colors, the repair, and especially the end result. It is the very best paint job that we have had. Dave and Thad have been very professional, dependable, and we will have them back for further painting in the future. Also, after we had our new carpet installed, several weeks after the painting was completed, I phoned Dave to tell him that, just as he had told me, some of the trim paint had been damaged by the carpet installers. Carl and Thad did most of the repair and painting. They were very professional and covered all necessary areas so no mess was made. They were fast and courteous and moved furniture. the bathroom wall was repaired and looked as good as new, but kitchen ceiling was a problem child. They were not satisfied with the finish, so they returned for 3 consecutive days to build up the ceiling and blend in the swirls. I had received 4 estimates for this job and everyone of them said that short of smoothing the ceiling and restarting the "mudding" process, that I would be lucky to get a 65-70% facsimile of the original ceiling. I believe that the ceiling looks at least 90% and if you were not looking for imperfections, there is no way you would know that a repair was done. The painting was done quickly and precisely. I would not hesitate to call them again in the future, and I highly recommend them

Crew worked quickly and professionally. They completed the job before my husband returned from a work trip. We are still wholly satisfied with their work a year later. Gave a detailed estimate and did not accept any payment until job was completed satisfactorily.

Dave was great from the start. When I called to set up an appointment he was able to come in a matter of days. He spent a long time listening to our ideas and explained the entire process. We made a very big change by having all of our oak trim painted white which we learned was a VERY detailed process. Dave and his team jumped right on our project and did a fantastic job. They all went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. We could not be happier with the service we received.

They were wonderful.  There was a myriad on street construction going on and they had a very difficult time scheduling the spraying on of the paint.  Due to the wind, the street construction and spray paint application (blowing onto stopped cars) they applied it using rollers, by hand.   It was FANTASTIC.

We were very pleased with the service and professionalism of Rockwood Painting.  They did a great job painting the first floor of our house and we will ask them to paint our kitchen as well when we have completed our remodel.

The owner called me back the same day I left a message and we set up an appointment. He was prepared and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He drew up a contract and we signed it.  The painter's name was Eric. He showed up on time or earlier every day until the job was done. The kitchen looks beautiful and everything was cleaned up when he was finished.

Provider returned call within one day arrived for estimate the same week. Job scheduled three weeks out. Completed the job within one day as promised. Very friendly, thorough and professional.

Dave and his team did an excellent job on our home. From start to finish this has been one of my best experiences with a contractor performing work on my home. Dave quickly responded to my call and visited my home. He carefully asked what my wife and I wanted to accomplish...making sure our needs were met, and he understood our objective. We received our quote as promised and the work began as promised as well...given some weather conditions made it impossible to work outside.



The painting team was all you could ask for...very professional, punctual, hard working, and just all around very nice guys. They took the time to explain the work as they did it and made sure it was meeting our expectations...so rare and so important.



The end result is that our home looks brand new. We have received many compliments from friends and family on this outstanding work.

Great job.  Professional workers and workmanship.  

Dave, the owner, even came one week ahead of the crew and painted the laundry room so we could have our new washer and dryer delivered.

Three men worked 5 consecutive days to complete the job (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) 

Response time from the owner for any questions/concerns is outstanding.

All paint and supplies were included in the bid. 

A written 5 year warranty guarantees their work.

They did all wall repairs before they painted. They fixed every scratch, every dent, and every nail pop.

His company is also fully insured.

The job was for 2 coats of paint, or what needed to be done to make it look right. They made sure it was right!

You cannot see any lines or roller marks which is a good sign of a good painter.

ONLY ONE REGRET...................WE RAN OUT OF THINGS FOR THEM TO PAINT!!!!!! 

They did a beautiful job. They were done in two days very, quick for all the work being done.
 Dave was very professional,and his crew were all great guys,you could totally trust them, I even left the house while they worked.

•  They cleaned up everything real well,even locked the house up when they left.
•   Dave really knew his trade . He had to fix a leak that was in my closet first, before the work could be completed.

I was fearful of the dust that would permeate the house from sanding the mud but was totally amazed and very pleased that there was none.  Dave does amazing work and before the job he sits with you and shows you all his certifications and insurance info and explains every aspect of what he will be doing.  The walls were so smooth after and quite ready for rimer and paint.  Also, if some problem shoud arise after the job is complete, just call him and he or one of his employees will come back and make it right.

They covered the floors and furniture with plastic.  It was as clean of a job as can be expected when sanding plaster.
