 + -1 moreThe staff and treatment was okay. The billing department doesn't have a clue. The hospital has sent me a bill of total charges of $30,750.99 for a one day observation. I have refused to pay the bill until I have received an itemized statement of all the charges. I have asked three times and still have not received an itemized statement. Now they are threating me, even though I've notified the billing department several times. I also asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told no one was available and one would call me back in 24 hours. I'm still waiting two months later.
Description of Work: Had surgery at the hospital. I had my doubts but it was one of two hospitals my surgeon operated in.

 + -1 moreGreat. I didn't have an appointment, but the wait was less than 15 minutes. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Overall a very positive experience. I will go back. when needed.
Description of Work: Lab work performed. With little delay, I was registered, treated, and on my way.

Description of Work: I WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR HEART PALPITATIONS WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE VENTRICULAR FIBRILLATION. THE ADMITTING NURSE WAS EXCELLENT, TOGETHER WITH A RN WHO WAS ASSISTING, QUICKLY EVALUATED MY SITUATION AND GOT ME INTO AN EXAMINING ROOM. I HAD AN EKG AND MY HEART WAS SHOCKED INTO RHYTHM QUICKLY. FROM THERE I HAD A HEART CATH AND A DEFIBRILLATOR IMPLANT SEVERAL DAYS LATER. THE NURSES AND CARDIAC CARE UNITS AND ICU WERE OUTSTANDING AND CARING.

 + 0 moreI had this anxiety problem my whole life and it is not depression but just extreme anxiety. I thought I was going crazy. All they had to do was look at me and they knew what was wrong with me and now I'm normal.
Description of Work: I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder that I had my whole life.

 + -1 moreOkay. From the start, the people in the ER seemed very friendly and genuinely concerned. The ER doc, although I can't remember his name, was very friendly, seemed knowledgeable, and concerned about her health. The hospital is really close to us, so I'm sure we're return in the future (if needed).
Description of Work: Took daughter to ER when she opened up a pack of Benadryl tablets. She was 3 at the time and said she only took one, but we rushed to the ER to be safe. ER sent us to triage (sp?) and they treated us very professionally (and showed a lot of concern). Went to the examine room where my daughter promptly went to sleep, but the ER doc and nurse did not seem that concerned (it was 10pm, well past her bedtime and she didn't nap that day). Everything seemed fine and they sent us on our way. Total visit was about 2 hours.

heart surgery
 + -1 moreI had heart surgery and they were very very good. I felt comfortable with them working on me. Their bedside manner is very good as well. Everything with them is just great and I would give them A's across the board and I will definitely use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I see two of the heart surgeons here.
