JMR Roofing

The roof came with a 30-yr warrantee and a 5-yr guarantee on workmanship. About 2 years after completion, the walls in my home began to bubble from moisture seeping through the chimney flashing. Hoping to get this situation fixed, I tried to call the provider. These calls began May 1st. I called four times between May and July, each time leaving messages with a secretary or a voicemail box. Each time they responded by saying they would send someone out, but no one ever showed. Finally, on July 23rd, one of their sales consultants did come out to my house. Prior to this, I had had two relatives take a quick look and both said shingles were obviously missing. When the sales consultant examined the roof, he said the missing shingles were the result of animals but I told him that I was more concerned about the water damage around my fireplace. He offered to fix the issues with the roof and send a different contractor to fix the walls. He said work would begin the next day. He pointed out the problems with the job, including the fact that the old tar needed to be replaced. He fixed the leak temporarily and again said his team would offer a more permanent solution. I did not here anything for almost two weeks, so on August 5th I called the sales consultant and left a message requesting a call back. I never received a call back. On August 20th, I again called the same consultant and he did not remember who I was or what I needed done. He said he'd call the office and let them know I called. On September 16th, I called the owner who told me that animals had chewed "a big hole" in my roof (the first I had heard of any major damage from animals) and that it wasn't their responsibility, it became heated and he refused to remedy the poor job he had done. I am an elderly widow and feel as though I was taken advantage of by this company. With so many good, honest, hardworking people out there, it would be a shame to give this company any more business.
