I called him back a few days later and said that if he didn't see evidence of squirrels why didn't he put mesh on the vents and treat for mice? I questioned his statement that there could be a squirrel nest up there with babies in it. Squirrels do not have babies at the beginning of winter! He came back on Nov. 4 and removed the 2 empty squirrel traps and out 2 more in the attic, put mesh on the exterior of the 2 gable vents. On one of the vents he put a one way door for the "squirrel" to get out. When I stated I wanted the mouse problem treated he stated that would be an additional $210.
On Nov. 22 the tech returned to remove the 2 EMPTY squirrel traps and to remove the one way door.
I never had a squirrel problem but since this was more expensive that a mouse problem, it was decided this is what I had. I had to pay up front before it was ever inspected as to what the problem was.Subsequently, I have found out the according to Ohio law, it is illegal to require full payment before any service is rendered. I have contacted the company several times and this situation has not been remedied.
I want a full refund from this company! They are very corrupt and are taking advantage of people! Do not ever call them for help!!!! Incompetent, expensive and doing business in an illegal way.
pest control. As a side note, my cat has been catching mice here after paying Expert Pest Management $481.50 for
We called Expert Pest Management and an apt was scheduled within a few days. The service man came out, was professionally dressed and, put on protective booties. He searched all over the house and basements for possible entries the ants might be coming through. He then applied a pet safe spray on all baseboards and put bait on the window sills in the kitchen on the first floor and around the upper perimeter of the basement. He then sprayed all around the outside of the house, Eric was very nice and personable and explained everything. He said that the spray would bring the ants out but not to kill them so they would take the bait back to the nest. Well, right away those pesky things started coming out and staggering around, we left them go and then when they were dead swept them up. This is the third day and we are starting to see a lesser amount of the ants. I am so relieved that I don't have to worry about these pests on my counters, floor or wherever. I would definitely use them again.
