Overcharged for labor on hot water tank AND installing 2 faucets. Dumped rusted metal from the inside of my broken hot water tank into my floor drain when I clearly have an ejection pump system which caused a terrible clean up issue in my drain. Could not install a new faucet in my ceramic pedestal sink but charged me 2 hours for taking the old faucet out. We are not at all happy with their field plumber who did our inside plumbing. Would never recommend to anyone.

EMS did top quality work at an affordable price. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Faucet in stationary tub in basement pretty corroded. Took some effort to remove. Easy replacement. Toilet fill valve supply line and shut off replaced. Sink pop up 1st floor bathroom repaired. 2hours work

Pipes and pipes were OK. Problem was leaky fixtures . Silicon was put on fixtures and sealed. Problem was fixed. Water no longer leaks to my basement.

He wanted to replace the total granite top and backsplash along with the sink that mounted underneath I only wanted it mounted underneath and wanted to keep the existing countertop after he quoted it would be at least $200 more for his granite countertop I told him to call me if you just want to do the under sink mount. As he did not call after week, we decided to get someone else outside of Angies List. His quote of $350 just for the sink or $500-550 for granite top also was given to another who just replaced the sink for $150. I would not recommend him.

Denny arrived on schedule and did an expert job of installing the water filter system and replacing the kitchen faucet unit. At my request, he checked out the faucets in both bathrooms and the house water shut off valve in the basement. I was extremely impressed by Denny's knowledge, strength, flexibility, and patience. I would call EMS again, definitely.

I worked with EMS through my home warranty for sometime and always had a very pleasant experience.

Be aware that you'll pay $80-$85 for the service call alone. I refused their service after being quoted for about $400 of work and parts and still had to pay nearly $100 just to have the tech drive to my home. Save your money and call Mr Rooter. They likely won't charge you just to come over and give you a diagnosis.

Very well, replaced old cast plumbing from toilet to sewer. Big job in 2014 and all hands were on deck with this company. No additional problems, very happy with repair. Downtime minimal considering the scope of cutting out cast.

We've been very impressed by their professionalism, responsiveness, and quality of their work. It's so nice having someone you can call for routine matters or emergencies and you will be given consistent, quality service each and every time.

The work they did was very good. I was told the price would be $825 unless they needed to bring in extra help to install if we had unique circumstances then the price would be $900. This was a basic install. Nothing special about it and they ended up charging $900. I was not happy about that and felt a little cheated.

Excellent and professional. Sump pump itself developed a leak at the manufacturers connection. Called and the plumber was out to fix it within 2 hour time frame. Everything was installed to our liking and easy to work with this company. Denny was the plumber and Marino/Raymond did our scheduling and answered our questions. The owner, ED, made the original visit for an estimate available on line.

I got the name of this plumber for my neighbor, so I really cannot comment on how he did his job. My neighbor seemed very pleased with his work, so I am going to assume he did what he was supposed to and corrected their problem.

Took too long (several hours), talked on phone, very expensive compared to others

I received a call before the provider came out to make sure that I was home and ready for the service call. Within an hour Denny arrived at my house. I showed him the work that needed done and within the hour he had completed the two tasks. He was very courteous and professional and the work was done completely to my satisfaction.

Was having issues with the water heater not firing. Serviceman gave possible part replacements and their costs. Then he showed me how to service the unit myself. Very prompt and friendly.

Responded very quickly to my inquiry, and provided a clear estimate of the repair process and price. Was able to get onto their schedule in short order. Called to follow up on customer satisfaction at end of job. Would definitely recommend and use EMS again.

They were incredible. We had several companies to look at the problem and they literally walked off. And he came in and he just resolved the issue. We have an apartment building with a large number of tenants that are largely students and we have lost all of our hot water throughout the entire building. We called three plumbers out. One of the three started the job and walked off. He didn't even said good bye. Then we called EMS and they were fantastic. I spoke to the owner directly. The owner was involved personally. He dealt with this type of blockage previously and not only did he repair it, he gave us insight in how to prevent this from recurring in the future. So it was very reasonable, they did a total re-pipe from our boilerroom to the building. The pricing was fantastic because you can imagine we've gone in January for four to five days with no hot water. He could have charged me anything and I would have paid it.

It went excellent. They were professional and thoughtful. The owner answers the phone himself--you never get a recording. The owner, Ed Smitzer, came over with his arm in a sling to help me stop rushing water coming out of my old water heater. Denny, one of the employees, is a thinker and finds the cause and gets it done. They are reasonable and comparable in price. Their service is exemplary.
