Randy recommended shortening one chimney by four feet because it was leaning. He reset the flue inside the rebuilt chimney. He extracted quite a bit of brick on the front porch and reset it using the leftover bricks from the chimney. He tucked and sealed all the gaps in the chimney and basically restored both chimneys. He was able to use a closely matching color of mortar so the work looks integral to the house. He redid an area of mismatched mortar and repaired other areas of the brick as well. He worked hard every day and coordinated the installation of the scaffolding with the neighbor so it would not tie up their driveway access more than one afternoon. I did not have to ask him to redo any work. He did all of this work for the original price. Randy provided a 15 year guarantee.
Randy repaired and remortared the effected areas to match the original work. He finished the job to my satisfaction within the time frame we agreed to. Randy is excellent to work with. He is extremely professional and helpful with suggestions. He has that old school work ethic, and you could tell he enjoys his work and has pride in getting things done the right way. It was very stress free dealing with Randy. He definitely went way above and beyond what you would expect from a typical contractor. I will always call him from now on with all my masonry needs.
