BLOOMIN'CRAZY FLORIST

I would never recommend Bloomin' Crazy Florist due to the unfriendly attitude of some of their staff members. Additionally the establishment lacks professionalism as a whole. Bloomin' Crazy ruined a surprise by calling someone on their birthday first thing in the morning to see if they would be home to accept a delivery of balloons and a teddy bear. I immediately telephoned a more popular local florist, Something New Florist in Canfield, OH and had been apprised of their delivery procedure to see if this was a common practice among florists. I had been advised that they would never ruin the surprise by calling the recipient. They would also make a delivery attempt, which Bloomin Crazy had not, despite the fact that the residence was approximately 5-10 miles from their establishment. Something New Florists would have left a door tag notifying the recipient that they had missed a visit from Something New Florists, and to call so the gift could be delivered. One staff member at Bloomin' Crazy had been especially unprofessional when taking the order via telephone, so much so that when I went in person to view her balloon and teddy bear selections, she had had a defensive and smart attitude. She had also selected a feminine balloon with flowers and pink and purple, when I specifically requested masculine balloons with absolutely no pink or purple. The day before the delivery, a very kind associate from Bloomin' Crazy telephoned to advise that despite the notification "no pink and purple" one of the balloons contained smiley faces with pink and blue streamers and flowers on the party hats. This particular employee called to describe another, more masculine style of balloon that would better suit my needs. She was extremely professional unlike the other woman who listened to my complaint, but offered no apology for Bloomin Crazy's poor business practices. I am waiting for my account to be credited as the delivery had not been made. Go with Something New Florists for all flower + balloon deliveries. They are professional, use common sense and put the customer first, very unlike my experience at Bloomin' Crazy.
