We have 5 techs on the road daily. We are Warranty authorized for Samsung, Frigidaire, Electrolux and General Electric, Dacor, Haier, Bosch and Danby. We are authorized to work on Amana and Sharp Commercial Microwaves. We can work on other makes and models after Mfg warranty is over.( RE: Maytag, Amana, Whirlpool)

We can work on washers, built in ovens, dryers, microwave ovens, ranges, refrigerators, window air conditioners and dehumidifiers. Most is home service. Some customers bring their microwaves and dehums to the shop.

The woman who answers the phone is down right rude and nasty, I had a warranty appointment scheduled today through their company. She immediately started being difficult, stated no order was scheduled. My husband called back, she told him eventually she does have the order but it’s not scheduled for today and that GE does not make their schedules. She was constantly making every conversation we had difficult, I called GE and said do not send this company. I don’t want this company in my house for anything if they can’t have a proper conversation without lying or arguing over a scheduled appointment.

The first repair guy didn't seem to know what he was doing.  In the end they sent a different repair guy out and he was able to fix the issue.

I called the provider to schedule a service on my new gas range that is still under warranty as the appliance manufacturer told me they were an authorized provider. I called them on Monday morning, and I was told that I would receive a phone call within 48 hours to schedule. I asked if the service call could be scheduled for Friday, well over the 48 hours. The woman on the phone said it doesn't work that way. I have never had an appliance repair place refuse to schedule an appointment on the phone at the time of initial call. It is over 48 hours and Aadam's has not returned my call to schedule. I called another provider this morning, and they are coming tomorrow - hey Aadam's - that is how it works when a customer calls, you schedule the service right then and there. I realize it cannot always be timely, but you schedule the first available slot you have. I sensed that this was an absurd way to run an appliance repair business, but I am glad they never called me back because I don't have any confidence in their abiility to fix my stove. I will never call them for service again. Aadam's has a horrible scheduling policy.

He explained due to the hard watercalcium built up. We had earlier changed to the aluminum ones with protection in case of burst hoses, and they had closed. Purchased rubber hoses and all is well,,

In short, our experience was incredibly bad. I would STRONGLY recommend any Angie's List customer to NOT use A Adams. They will tell you that your and quot;diagnostic feeand quot; (consisting of writing down serial numbers for $50/ea) will be usable for repairs/replacement, and when going with the replacement (as they informed us the part needed for repair was longer available) and after ORDERING and receiving said replacement, they informed us that they changed their mind and will no longer honor that promise (which we verified and reconfirmed on several occasions).
So we're on the hook for the replacement item, the oddly expensive serial number transcription, and now someone to install the item that A Adams had told us that our and quot;diagnostic/serial number feeand quot; was going to apply towards installing.
When we called them to question their dodgy and unprofessional business practices (while the replacement item sat in our living room) they won't call you back -- despite promises to do so repeatedly during repeated calls. In short, do your self a favor and use ANYONE in Y-Town for your job OTHER than them. We're new homeowners and have used dozens of providers for various jobs -- most were pretty stand up people. From our experience you seriously can't find a worse and less professional company than A Adans.
We SINCERELY hope that our $150 loss (and this resultant review) will benefit someone else in the future -- by encouraging them to not use A Adams for any job.

"Let me get this out of the way, WE DO NOT INSTALL ANY APPLIANCES! This customer had a home warranty and he was responsible for service call and diagnosis. I do not know what his home warranty covered but all we can do is diagnosis and send info to them. Our tech diagnosed 3 appliances for this customer. A stove hood, gas range and dishwasher, all manufactured in the 1980's. The hood had wire damage and was not repairable. The range needed 3 parts, but the model # was unreadable so we could get no parts. The dishwasher needed 4 parts, of which 2 were no longer available. This info was faxed to the warranty co. and emailed to the customer. The customer called to tell us he had purchased a new hood and wanted it installed. We had told him, many times that we do not install appliances. It is up to the home warranty co. about replacement and installation of appliances. Had we been able to get parts and the warranty company ok'ed the repair, the jobs would have been completed."

Technician was on time, we kept in touch throughout the day to make sure I knew he was coming and to verify I'd be home.

It took him maybe 20 minutes to diagnose the problem. I knew straight away his diagnosis was right and logical.

He took a few items out of the freezer to get at the coils and relay, and when finished, he put everything back.

Professional, cordial, and very knowledgeable.

Good company, they are authorized service providers for many name brands. There is no guessing with them, they are trained and factory-supported.

Range needed a new locking mechanism. Unfortunately, the model had been discontinued and the part was unavailable. The repairman suggested brands that have a good repair record so that is what we bought.
