"The customer reached out to us complaining of minor cold air around window seals. We agreed to come take a look to see if there was anything we could do. I told the customer I could try re-caulking the windows to see if that helps and would send an estimate. Upon more research I was not confident that new caulking would remedy his issue. I sent a message through Angi explaining that to the customer and suggested him reaching out to a window company. We did have some trouble getting the truck to start the morning of the estimate as the windchill was negative, we reached out to the customer promptly to let him know we were running a few minutes late. We are a small business and genuinely care about our customer’s time, experience with us and quality of work. We are upfront with our customers and let them know if we feel that we are not a good match for their needs, which was the case here."

"Hi [Member Name Removed] We gave you an estimate for a list of work that I thought would take a day and a half and were upfront about our busy schedule. You agreed but asked if we could fix the gate as soon as possible. We have a half day minimum but do our best to find time when there is need. We reversed the swing on a heavy gate that should really be two gates. I’m sorry we didn’t meet your expectations, as we work very hard to exceed them with all of our customers. I am glad to hear that your friend was able to help you with the rest of your work sooner than our schedule allowed."
