They came through our neighborhood going door to door selling lawn fertilization services.  I was unhappy with my provider, so I decided to give them a chance.  I went ahead and paid for the whole season up front.  All summer, we've had crabgrass everywhere.  I take good care of my lawn -- watering and cutting at the right time and height.  Regardless, our lawn has never looked worse.  The final nail in the coffin was when they treated our lawn the last time and left the gate to our back yard open.  Our dog got out and fortunately was not hit by a car.  When my wife called, they simply said that we must not have specified that we didn't want the gate left open.  When she told them about the crabgrass, they said that I should just rake it up.  (Not sure how exactly one would just "rake up" crabgrass, by the way...given that it does have roots).  Bottom line, they told me I wouldn't have to worry about weeds or crabgrass and that they would do a great job for us.  They flat out lied.  Horrible company.  Avoid them at all cost.

The only positive thing I think I could quote was that their price, which was significantly less than other competitors, who I received quotes from.  They have a scheduled route, so the faster they could get me taken cared of the faster they can get to the next.  There was no loitering.  They normally called to let me know they would be out the next day or later in the day.  They were prompt.  They performed the lawn applications well.  I decided to go with another company.  I had significant problems with them, not with their promptness.   First of all, they quoted me a price for a set number of applications, for which I prepaid.  Once those applications were done they came out in additional time and build me, which I thought was poor business and let them know that, that was not appreciated.  They had no right to do that.  Then I called and said they wont quote it because sometimes the weather is bad in the late fall and they don’t know if they can get it done or not and I said that is still no reason to come out because they were not authorized to do it.  So that was one of the major complaints I had.  There are essentially two others.  I found their grub control ineffective.  I live in the same house for 27 years and never had a grub problem until the year that I had them.  The last issue that I have with them was that their lawn aeration service, which I prepaid for was not a good service.  They were really not up to par.  So for those reasons I have made it clear that I would not be back with them.  They were below average.

We were constaced by Team Green prior to the 2011-2012 season and offered a better price than our previous company anfd when the salesman told me they were local from Fairborn, I was sold. The offer I paid for was described as worth $391 but could be prepaid for $300.36 and would include all service for the season. Today is Nov 8th and we were given an unexpected extra treatment called "Winterizer" and left a bill for $50.06. I called to inquire and was told this is the most important treatment of the season but is not offered as psrt of the package because they can only apply it if the weather cooperates. The man I spoke to agreed to remove the charge, but I am still feeling that I was mislead and I don't like that so am not continuing with them for next year. That and the fact they told me they were local. I live in Fairbron and they are from Xenia, so i cannot even call without it being long distance.
I think the service they did provide was fine as they would show up and leave me a statement of what they did on the front door. They offered to trturn also return as much as requested to retreat weeds but I never did need to call for that. But ,I want to be treated honestly and fairly and do not feel I have been. Businesses need to be more open to keep customers. The people who answer the phone are friendly and courteous.

Did not get service promised, had to call back and get weeds retreated multiple times, had to call 3 times because of core aeration scheduling issues. Talking to customer service was painful, they were no help. Overall, worst I've experienced.

They were not there within the 10 days. Then they did come to our neighborhood and treated the wrong house. My neighbor came over to tell us their yard was sprayed and they got an invoice with our name on it. I called the company and spoke to a rude lady who just simply said they would take care of it. I called the driver and he said he would be back out  that week, they never showed up. I called on 9/25 to tell them I wanted to cancel service and to please not cash our check as we had not received any service from them. Later that day they cashed the check. I called on 9/28/12 and spoke to someone who said they had our old address from the check we gave them. That doesn' make any sense because they sprayed our neighbors yard one day and i also stated our address 3 time when I left a message to cancel service. Also the man that came to our house told us they sold several services on our street....they did not. They are supposed to come and spray the yard today. I doubt they will. I'm sure I will end up in small claims court to get my $279 back. Do not hire them! You will regret it.


Update- The company did refund all of our money after we never received service and all the mix ups.

We always had weeds.
They never let me observe their work.
They didn't provide the free weed touch-up service they promised.
They seemed more interested in selling me additional services rather than performing well the services we had already paid for.
End result is that our lawn is worse than last year and we are now considering the huge expense of redoing the entire front lawn.

They overcharged me for the flea and tick treatment and it took them two months to actually come out and perform the service.  It also took them over two weeks to reimburse me for the overcharging.  I got charged two overdraft fees because their lack of timely reimbursement. With all that being said, their quality of work was relatively good.

They called me and are a local company. They quoted me a higher price but later matched the previous company that I used to use for lawn services when I informed them about their prices. My overall experience with them so far has been fine.

I would not recommend them because I was told by one of the guys in customer service that they don't have time to attend to the needs of their customers. They have too many customers to attend to the needs of a single individual. When I first signed up with them at the first of last year they asked me about reseeding my lawn because we had a bad summer and got patches in their lawn. They told me they would do it in June or July but they did not do until October and by then my lawn looked beautiful and full. I asked them about this and asked why they did not call me about reseeding the lawn  as well as why they did not do it in the summer. I was told they had too many customers to call ahead. I also had dandelions in the spring when they were putting down weedkiller and they would not come back out to respray, saying it was too close to my next treatment time to respray. They were not professional and I will not use them again in the future.
