We needed to add air conditioning to our existing furnace, and our experience was outstanding from beginning to end. Tyler, the rep who gave me the estimate, was very thorough and patient. Their estimate came in less than a competitor's, even with a humidifier and service plan added. Financing was available. The install was done by 2 techs, Tyler and Josh (a different Tyler), they were polite and did a good job. They hit a snag because of our old breaker box, but ran to a hardware store for a part and got it straightened out. (No extra charge). 
The A/C unit works great, quiet and we’re finally cool and comfortable. 
Great company and I would use them again without hesitation.

We're under contract. We've been using them for years. They give excellent, prompt service and excellent personnel.

They were very, very good. They kept my credit card information and everything and said, "Well, we'll just send you an e-mail receipt when it's done and that is what they did." They were very good. The price was fair. I wasn't there, but everything was taken care of, which I truly appreciate. I called them and they said, "Oh yeah, we remember you, we have your information here." They kind of took care of it for me. I did hear any complaints from the tenants.

Really well, they arrived on time and eventually found a leak that could not be fixed. I had to pay extra for them to find the leak and even more to replace the coil. But they completed the install and now the system is cooling again.

Although he was late, for which he apologized, everything else went well,  He prepped the furnace for use and explained each step of the process to me.  He apologized for being late, because of an earlier call that took much longer than anticipated.  If I had been called to notify me of the delay, I'd have given this service perfect marks.

They called to reschedule due to a medical emergency.  On the rescheduled day he was on time.  Checked my furnace.  Told me that everything was in very good order and everything was working fine.  He gave me a list of everything that was checked. Thanked me for calling them.

They are always "rapid-responders" and are so conscientious about taking care of any problem as quickly and efficiently as possible to ensure our comfort and to keep costs down.  They are professionals all the way, from their quick and competent resolution of the problem to their customer service-oriented attitudes, courtesy, and cleanliness.  Top-notch people!!!!

Our AC unit died on us at the end of the summer and Shawnee gave us quotes on several different options for a whole new HVAC system. We got quotes from one other vendor to compare. Matt at Shawnee was extremely helpful in educating us on the different options we had for various types of HVAC systems. I'm a researcher and spent lots of time doing my own research, but also asking Matt a ton of questions. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions very honestly. We finally decided to go with a geothermal unit for several reason.: 1) the tax credit of 30% of the cost; 2) the long term savings on energy costs; 3) we felt comfortable with Shawnee's experience installing geothermal systems.

Once we made our decision, Shawnee had us scheduled to start in just a couple weeks. They helped us pick a good spot in the yard to drill the 4 wells and brought out their big drilling machine. The kids loved watching the drilling. I don't think the drilling went as smoothly as they expected. There was a lot of mud which forced them to dig up more of the yard than expected. They probably dug up a good 20X20FT area of the yard. In the Spring they will be coming back to smooth out the ground so we can replant the grass.

One night after the guys went home after digging, I noticed the sound of water in the crawl space. Turns out one of the outdoor faucets they used had burst in a previous winter and never been used since. I thought they had broken the faucet and asked them to check it out. The owner offered to re-imburse anything that might have been their fault, but after finding out that the faucet pipe was split from a burst, I, of course, didn't ask them to do that, but really appreciated the offer.

Once the wells were dug and the loops inserted, they drilled horizontally under the house and up into the crawl space near the garage. The loops were then run from the crawl space to the garage by drilling a hole in the wall between the crawl space and the garage. Probably my only complaint about the whole process was that the geothermal lines came into the crawlspace right were our trap door entrance is, which is slightly annoying when going into the crawl space.

The rest of the installation included a day or 2 of setting up the geothermal unit in the garage and then another day of installing the furnace inside the house. The new furnace was larger than the previous one so it took longer to get it to fit, but other than that there weren't any major problems.

Since our new system has been installed it's been working great. We've only needed one service call (no charge) because the geothermal couldn't keep up with the dropping winter temperatures. They just needed to configure the thermostat to kick on the gas heat at a different outside temperature.

Overall, I've been super pleased with the service. This was largest purchase I've ever made outside of my mortgage and I was pretty nervous, but I am extremely comfortable recommending Shawnee to others after my experience.

Responded to Sunday morning call and arrived in 40 minutes. The technician replaced the ignitor and thoroughly tested the furnace to insure it was working. The technician was very nice and provided lots of helpful information.

I AM PRETTY GOOD AT SHOPPING AROUND, AND THEY HAD THE LOWEST AND BEST PRICE OUT OF FIVE OTHER COMPANIES. I GOT A REALLY GOOD DEAL FROM THEM. IF I EVER NEED MY SYSTEM REPLACED I WILL GO TO THEM.
