Master Chimney Sweeps Inc

Do not hire this contractor. We have an outstanding judgement against him in Fairborn Municipal Court (case number 04CVI01744), and we have not been able to collect the judgement, even after bringing him back to court for a debtor exam. The original judgement was for $1,093 in 2005. With interest and additional fees over the years, the amount would now be higher.
This company also operates under the names of Adams Chimney Sweeps, Inc., Adams Master Chimney Sweeps, and Adams Chimney Services.
The company is basically a one-man show, run by Stephen M. Wiesemann. He improperly installed a steel chimney liner at our home. He did not pull a permit for the job, so we obtained a permit from the county. Upon inspection by Greene County, the chimney not only failed inspection, but it was found to be a fire hazard and a potential health hazard. So, we had to have the liner removed and the chimney repaired by another company at our own expense.
I recently saw the company distributing flyers in our neighborhood and felt that I should write this review to warn my neighbors about this fly-by-night company.
Stay away from this company!
