Alan came out and gave me a free estimate on the work that needed to be done. He was very polite, punctual, and professional. I called him a few weeks later to hire him to perform the work. The work on the leak outside required Alan to dig about 4 ft to get to the leaking pipe. Another company that came out gave me an estimate that was 5x what Alan quoted me. They said they'd have to hire a small crew to dig out the spot since it was too tight to get a machine into the space, and the costs were high due to the labor. Imagine my surprise when Alan arrived alone with a shovel and dug the hole himself in about 30 minutes! He promptly replaced the leaking part and covered the hole. I asked him to take a look at the pressure tank inside the basement, and he quickly diagnosed the problem and we set a date two days later for him to return and replace the pressure tank. He again arrived on time and was quick and professional with his work, he even provided us with a larger tank than our old one to save the wear and tear on our well pump. When Alan was done he included a military discount on the costs, which amounted to being 4x less than a competitor was going to charge us. We now have good pressure in the front and back of our house to water our lawn throughout the summer without the worry of water coming into the basement. Alan was great; I highly recommend him, and would definitely hire him again!

This happened on a Sunday, he came was very nice and came as soon as possible. He adjusted something on the pump. Explained that the pump was very old, and would need to be replaced eventually. great experience I wiil use the company again.

Mr. Barker responded, troubleshot, and repaired quickly. He found chafing/shorting in the wiring to the water pump and replaced the wiring. Good fella, local small business. I would highly recommend him for any water well service needs.

Noticed my electric bill had suddenly increased a lot! Did online research Discovered my well Pump was not shutting off.I replaced my pressure tank and switch.
Still had issue,was prepared to have pump replaced.
Allan was in and done in under an hour!

Setting an appointment was easy and they answered questions I had prior to the appointment. They showed up a few minutes late due to some emergency calls from folks with no water (can't fault them for this, and would make me want to use them again.) Even though they showed up a few minutes late they got right to work and talked me through the process. They spent time answering questions and performed a very thorough analysis of the wells on the property. Definitely a top-quality company based on my experience.

Overall very pleased, woke up, no water, checked Angie's List, found them, called them, they came same dady and by 4 pm, I had water. Does not get any better than that!!

We just purchased an older home that has an irrigation well that was not working properly. I contacted Barker Well Drilling and initially spoke with Alan who said that they could come out and take a look at the well for $65.00. Alan also said that they could call when they were 30 minutes out so that I didn't have to leave work any earlier than I needed to. As promised, they called at 2:00pm and arrived promptly at 2:20pm. He and John were very knowledgable about submersible pumps. They quickly troubleshot the problem, pulled the well and found 2 holes in the plastic tubing. I asked for an estimate for the needed repairs and was pleasantly surprised when he said that they could get us back up and running for $165 including the service call. Of course I said "do it", they made quick work of the repairs by replacing all of the tubing and ensuring that the pump was working properly. They were in and out in less than 90 minutes and we were back in business with tremendous water pressure. We would highly recommend Barker Well Drilling to other Angie's List customers and we'll definitely use them again.
