Dr. Duque's office is conveniently located at Greene County Hospital.  Her office staff are very friendly and attentive.  There was a delay of about 45 min. to see the dr, which is about right for this physician, as she takes her time with her pts. The thoroughness of the history and physical were great.  Dr. Duque is a very personable and easy to communicate to physician.  We thoroughly enjoyed her.  However, we have one reservation: she seems to jump to conclusions without a basis for them.  An example: my husband takes Ambien as he wakes up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep.  She decided that he had sleep apnea and wanted a full workup, even though he never has any symptoms of sleep apnea (I am an RN and know that his sleeping pattern is always regular) before he had surgery for a hiatal hernia.  The surgeon disagreed with that and did the surgery without the sleep study and he did just fine.  I cancelled my appointment with her and am going with a different physician after talking to another nurse who had similar problems with this MD.  On the other hand, she is known to be very involved with her patients, even making house calls when warranted.

Dr Duque is a wonderful doctor who takes the time to know her patients.  She also tries to fit those patients in who need her attention quickly.  Because of these things she does tend to almost always run late (1/2 hour to 3/4 hour), but because she has always made sure that I get in to see her ASAP when I need to, I don't mind the wait.

He will be doing my other hand in a few days.  I have no scar.  He is great.  I don't know that much about him, but he has done wonderful for me.  I went to him because I have heard good reports about him.  I know a lot of people that have used him and liked him.  You're comfortable around him.  He is easy to talk to, and you can tell that he cares.
