I can't say that I'd ever want to live through a complete kitchen gut-and-redo again but Lenny and his crew went out of their way to make it bearable for us. They worked efficiently and quickly. All the guys on his crew were pleasant, personable and professional. They were careful to hang plastic to minimize dust as walls came down and ceramic floors were torn out. At one point during the demo, I mentioned to Lenny that my son had some dust allergies. The next day, he rigged up a high-powered air purifyer to even further minimize the dust.
We were impressed by Lenny's skill at coordinating every phase of the project, including the permits and inspections, deliveries, plumbers, electricians, HVAC, etc. There was very little "down time" between every phase of the project, and every phase seemed to move along quickly.
Regarding the quality of Lenny's work: The friend who recommended him described his work as "high-end" and that was certainly our experience as well. He's a highly-skilled carpenter and he cuts no corners. He cares about quality and "doing it right." Our cabinets, trim, windows, flooring, and outdoor living space are all beautiful and built to last for decades to come.
After only a couple of months we went from having a 1970's fixer-upper to a gorgeous home that we absolutely love. We can't speak highly enough of DKL Construction and Lenny Jesuele, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for top-quality work at a fair price.
They were done in 4-5 weeks. We so appreciated how they cleaned up every day and kept our ability to cook for all but 3 days. I highly recommend them.
I have worked with many contractors in my job and in several homes. These guys are keepers. We were always comfortable with them in our home, always easy to talk to about any issues, concerns, or changes that we wanted to make. Love DKL!
