Columbus Windows and Siding provided roofing, windows, siding, and gutters on two investment properties. I was so satisfied, I hired Doug to replace windows on my primary residence and repair the roof on my Mother's home. The crew was on time and completed the work on schedule. They cleaned up after themselves, which seems like a minor point, however one of my pet peeves is contractors who leave a mess for me to deal with. The quality was excellent and the price was right. I will definitely use them again

Ten minutes before the appointment (estimate), the representative called and said he was experiencing problems with his truck. Apologized and said he would contact me to reschedule. That was Thursday, June 21st. It's now Wednesday, June 27th and I still have not heard one word from them. This is the reason I didn't hire my bro-in-law to do the job. Unreliable.

Excellent! From the first time I contacted the company until after completion, Doug Bond always responded promptly and made sure everything was taken care of and that we were happy. After the project was finished, he called twice to make sure we liked the final result. We chose him for 2 reasons: he was never pushy,..trying to sell us things we did not want; and the cost. He was half as much as a well known competitor but the quality was the same. Additionally, we needed a new front door. We purchased the door at Home Depot and Doug picked it up for us after it arrived and his crew installed it for us.

It was an excellent job. I am in the real estate business and have dealt with many contractors. Many don't show up on time, don't complete the job on time, and don't clean up after themselves. This was not the case with Columbus Windows and Siding. The installers arrived on time & finished slightly ahead of schedule. The quality of the work and materials are excellent. I was particularly impressed when they told me what was needed to repair my roof without trying to sell me completely new roof. As a Real Estate investor, I have to be cost conscious & Columbus Windows and siding was the best value.

This experience stated off great. I was working with Doug Bond on an estimate and he was very straight forward and easy to work with. However, getting closer to the install date for my windows, I had to initiate the conversation to figure out what time they would be arriving at my house (I still hadn't heard anything by noon the day before they were supposed to be doing install). Even more frustrating was the install team. They arrived at 9:30am and were finished around 5pm which was great and impressive for the work they had to do, but I was disappointed by some of the unprofessional behavior I saw from younger members of the crew outside while I was sitting on the couch and even more upset by the mess they left when they were "finished". First, I witnessed a younger member of the crew climbing the first rung of the ladder and swatting a team member in the back of the legs who was higher up on the ladder with what looked like an old piece of metal or plastic. Not only is this unprofessional it is very unsafe. Second, after the team had left I walked on to my back patio, noticed it was messy, and proceeded to sweep up a large pile of old wood pieces and splinters from my previous windows, as well as 5 nails, some of which were very rusty and bent. Third, my walls around the window were covered in dirty fingerprints and full hand prints that are not washing off once I discovered them after the team had left. I have tried to clean them multiple times over the last few weeks and I can still see the marks. I initially messaged Doug Bond to tell him about the pile of wood splinters and nails on my patio. He responded rather quickly and apologized. I sent him one more message right after regarding the dirty hand marks and crack in my drywall, but it has been almost a week since that message and he has never responded. I chose to go with this company instead of a more commercial group because Doug left a great first impression, reviews I had read before made me very optimistic, and I enjoy being able to support local business. However, this experience was disappointing after being so excited. I will say though, despite the disappointment with the service, my new windows are beautiful and they are the silver lining to this whole experience.

I got 5 estimates. Columbus Windows and Siding showed up when scheduled. They were not cheapest but felt I got the most value for the money. They also were very informative and not pushy. Great clean up and follow up. I highly recommend them.

I contacted Columbus Windows and Siding because our roof was leaking - I knew the roof was the original roof, and near the end of its time. I was able to reach someone quickly and they came right out. They looked over everything, and felt the best course would be to replace the entire roof, as well as the gutters (I knew we needed it). Everything was explained thoroughly, and we were able to get on the schedule for that week. The crew was courteous and kind. They took the time to clean up everything carefully, which I really appreciated - I could let my dogs in the backyard and not worry about them getting hurt. The new roof and gutters look great! Everything was very easy for me and done right. I will definitely contact them again for our next project!
