In mid-July, we met with Andrew Show who very thoroughly explained what they would do for my daughter. I felt very comfortable about how they would help her get the best deal. She agreed to work with them for six months. At that time, they gave her a binder that explained the entire home buyer experience and terms. Plus there was a checklist for each step of the process that she needed to do. The best item was a list of people and businesses that she could call for things like lawyer and inspections. We met Darren who would work with her in showing houses. A portal was created for her that would only show homes based on her desires. As soon as a listing was posted, she got a email that a new home was available. She would sign in to the portal to see the home and could check the house as a like or dislike. She would give Darren a list of homes usually three at a time to visit. He was always available and super quick to respond. She placed a bid for a home in August with Darren's help on the offer(5000 below asking) and was accepted pending the inspections. The homes needed lots of cosmetic work. She called one of the home inspectors and we spent 1 hour and 45 minutes. (my home inspection took 20 minutes.) He found multiple issues. The radon gas result was bad with 3 times the minimum concentration. At that, she asked that it to be fixed, The sellers refused to fix the radon so she backed out. She found another home several weeks later and she was the last person to view the house as there were multiple people bidding on the house and the buyer had a good offer. Darren and my daughter worked out a bid and to her surprise, she got the house even though the other bid was higher. Her bid with Darren's knowledge was a more reliable and secure. She closed on the house on October 6th. I can not express how professional and attentive Darren and Andrew are. I recommended them to my sister and niece to use them when my niece is ready.
