Work on my property was acceptable.  However, at the same time my work was being done, Matrka was hired to complete several projects including rebuild deck and stain for a close relative.  Work was not done by Matrka personally but by a newly hired individual.  Work was NOT acceptable.  Took 3 times for project to be acceptably completed.  Following that experience, would hesitate hiring again unless guaranteed Matrka would do work personally.

Total FRAUD.
Took two weeks to come out here. Sent one p*** dressed in a black hoodie smelling heavily of cheap cigarettes. Called me up and said he'd "banged on door and rung doorbell" and I wasn't home. I walked outside and saw him sitting in his car. (This was after the snow had melted, so it was pretty comfortable out). I greeted him and asked him to ring the doorbell (I was actually not sure if it worked). The p*** did a double take; he didn't even know where the doorbell he claimed to have rung was. He then lied again and said he had never said that.

I asked if he had a business card; he said no. I asked if he had any materials with his employer's name, he asked why. I said I wanted some contact info. The p*** went out and sat in his car for fifteen minutes putzing around then drove off.
I called up the company at their number listed here on Angie's List. Some woman who talked very, very slowly and felt compelled to ask my address number four times (it's twenty-nine, twenty-seven) claimed she didn't know who had been sent so she'd have to check with her dispatch and would get right back to me. It took her over an hour to get back to me, and said she still didn't know, the person was "on vacation". I asked her where we would go from here. She hung up and did not answer further calls.

I left two voice mails to the effect that I wanted the work done (which had ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR) and said that the only other option if we couldn't talk it out would be to do a charge back on my AmEx and give a bad review on CL. Didn't respond so here we are. It's too bad, because I wanted my house painted and some other work done.

They had some equipment failures on the first day they were scheduled to show up.  They were sorry and came back right after the Labor Day weekend and got the job done.

They did a good job. However, they quoted me a different price than the final price. They did not tell me this until after the work was done. If I use them again I would just want them to hold to the original price quote.

Contractor owns cherry picker for painting elevated exterior.  Made the job quicker and more effecient than scaffolding.  Crew was courteous and meticulous.
