Showed up 20 minutes late. Still charged a service fee of $70 for spending less than 10 minutes to provide the quote. Price quote was outrageous. Nearly $300 more expensive than other quotes I received. Unless you want to over pay for service, do not use this company. I should have read the other reviews about their incredibility expensive services.

The work Streb did for us was outstanding! Michael Bernardinetti was very knowledgeable, efficient, professional and had a very good personality. I had never had an electrical contractor do work for me, since I always did the work myself. If we have another electrical problem I can't handle, Streb will be our choice!

This was the best service experience I have had. The project was and urgent need but not an emergency and Streb fitted us into their schedule within two days of my contact. The project was completed in less than the estimated three days and slightly under budget! we received impeccable craftmanship in the installation. The quality and the timing for the project could not have been better. I would recommend Streb Electric to anyone I know.

Charged $69 to come give an estimate to replace breaker panel. The estimate was for $7600! Got 3 other estimates from companies that DID NOT CHARGE, and the next most expensive is for $1390. There is nothing this company can do to justify charging more than $6000 over other companies!!

Very nice technician (Odell) however prices / recommendations for services needed were ridiculous! 1 GFI = $147 (part costs $15 at Lowes), 2 grounding/bonding sets for hot water tanks = $260 (part costs $8 each at Lowes). He recommended all my smoke alarms be replaced because he "assumed" they were >10yrs old = $880! He was a bit taken back when I told him these had all been replaced just 3 months ago (he never looked inside any of the smoke alarms to look at date).....so when it comes to Odell's recommendation to replace 2 electrical panels at $1700 each.....I have no reason to believe that this is necessary and I can only assume the prices are inflated as everything else on the list was inflated (or not necessary). I may need to have the panels replaced but I don't trust Streb/Odell's opinion. VERY disappointed as Streb got great reviews on Nextdoor and Angie's List -- and I like to support local businsses. But I'll be looking for someone elses to review/assess what Odell assessed in my home. I was ok paying the $69 for this "inspection" but realize now it was just a scam to try to sell me services/products that I may or may not need. So....I'm still shopping for an honest and affordable electrician.

"I'm sorry you didn't like our prices. You gave examples of what the material cost of things are. You have to understand that the experience of the technician, the tools that we use to install the equipment, the trucks we drive, the insurance I pay, the health insurance I provide are all figured into our prices. If it was as simple as buying the parts and installing them everyone would be able to do the work. As far as the smoke detectors go, we will ask O'dell if he took one or more down to check the dates. You can't run a successful business and have good employees without paying a good wage also. Since the customer is not happy we will return his $69 that he did pay. We stand behind our Guarantee."

Odell the technician was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I would welcome Streb back into my home anytime I need electrical work performed. Odell went through the house and did a cursor inspection while I explained the things I needed done. He gave honest input with regards to some simple items that I would be better served doing myself. He covered each item that he could do and their individual costs. Once we determined what he should do, he set off right away and was happy to carry on some light conversation while doing the repairs. It was a great experience and I will make sure to hire them again if I need electrical work done in the future.

I felt the project went well, technicians were knowledgeable and task oriented. This was an all-day event, and a bit beyond - they ran into a snag at the end due to the aged electrical in place. Problems resolved.Cleanup primarily done by the junior tech was pretty good, although several areas were missed with wood shavings and wire debris left behind.Overall, I felt they went above and beyond to ensure outlets near water sources were updated. Company was responsive on the phone and did followup. Have already recommended Streb to a neighbor.

The electricians were on--time, professional and accomplished what needed to be. It ultimately amounted to a very simple fix requiring barely a half hour, if that. We felt, however, that the overall pricing was not justified for such a simple project. In addition, I provided a referral to a neighbor for a larger project but was told our project was not large enough to justify your usual referral discount. Your electricians were excellent, friendly, appropriately wore masks and accomplished their job very efficiently. I understand they do not control pricing, but we were a bit disappointed company policy did not provide us any consideration for the pricing nor the referral.

The entire process from Quote to Installation was very thorough and seamless. Ryan went over the installation process in detail and answered all questions. The install went great as well. He was very considerate. He made sure that he wore protective feet coverings as well as a mask. He went over all the work that he performed and cleaned up all debris from the job. I really appreciate the up front pricing that is thoroughly outlined in his work manual. I would definitely use this company again.

Dryer stopped with no previous indications of trouble. Manufacturer rep could not find problem, but guessed it was electrical. Streb rep diagnosed it as breaker that had broken but had not tripped 'cause it was larger than needed (left over from previous dryer) and replaced it. Cost was outlined before service was performed. Other potential problems were pointed out. Dryer works.

Very professional and timely however very costly. I would use them again for large and complex projects however I would look to use another company or person for less complex projects (e.g. replacing wall sconces, replacing a dimmer switch, and installing a new dimmer switch). Would have liked for the cost for the service call/ quote to be rolled into the cost of any work that done rather than an additional expense.

Don't hire! Paid $69.00 for Streb to walk in the door and tell us they can't fix our existing under-cabinet lights. To replace the whole system with tape lights will cost=$1291.00 and the new tape lights look like garbage. Streb "won't install puck lights", what a complete ripoff and waste of time. Waste of money. Would not hire again!

"The customer was aware that we charge a $69 Service Fee to show up at the house. This also includes a free 20 point electrical safety inspection that the customer did not want. The technician spent almost an hour at the house checking the lighting system they have. He made a phone call to our lighting supplier who said that they do not handle that manufacturer. He also looked up the part we think they need and it was not available anywhere. Their system is old and needs to be replaced. that is why we gave them that option."
