It went very well. He arrived on time and did an outstanding job refinishing our counter tops. They look amazing -- like brand new counter tops! He was neat and covered walkways through our living room into the kitchen prior to performing any work. I would definitely recommend this service provider and will use him again in our rental property.

This was a fantastic experience from the first contact to the last. He was very professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything involved and was very responsive in all phone contact. He was prompt and worked very efficiently getting a large amount of work done expeditiously. It was obvious that he was somewhat of a perfectionist with his work and a badly damaged counter was repaired like new. We highly recommend this company

Sink was in sad shape, probably good for 17 years ago, but no longer efficient work flow.  Faucet was working but very sloppy.  Ken asked me to take some photos of the existing sink, and then he made a trip to examine things for himself.  Provided me with an estimate, and recommendations as to what type and size of drop-in sink could replace the one he'd remove.  He told me to call him while shopping at the various retail sources so he could further advise on which style and material would work.  Once the product was purchased (sink and a faucet through local store; ordered soap dispenser over internet via efaucets.com), he set a date for the work.  He had advised that it takes most of the day.  He and his worker arrived around 9:30 and completed the job, including cleanup, by 3:30pm, including a quick run for a plumbing piece of piping.  
His work was neat.  The two men worked under a heavy-plastic 'tent' to keep the dust from sawing the acrylic material to a minimum.   Adjacent drawers and cabinets did not need to be emptied.   
He will arrange with me for an additional appointment for some additional refinishing work to the remaining countertop surfaces.  Price billed was as estimated with exception of the additional $10 plumbing pipe needed for my particular setup.  
Very professional.  Obviously cares a great deal about his work product.

This is the 3rd time I have used Solid Tops Refinishing.  After a bad experience with another refinishing company, I contacted Solid Tops Refinishing and never looked back.  I use their services about every 18 mos or so to make my counter tops look like NEW.

The countertop looks brand new! All of the small marks are gone, and the counter has a nice sheen. Ken provided an estimate prior to the job, and confirmed the estimate upon arrival to my home. The work was complete in several hours, and he did an excellent job. He was punctual, courteous and professional. I highly recommend him!

The job was great overall and he was fantastic.

I called and explained the problem. Since the material is inferior to Corian, which he specializes in, he was a bit hesitant. I asked him to come anyway because he had been highly recommended, both on Angies List and by a large kitchen cabinet installer in Cleveland. He came the next day, and suggested two approaches, one less and one more expensive. He told me what the cost would be for each approach. He tried the less expensive approach in a small area, but it did not work. He had to use a sander to go over the entire area; he used a special pad to do the areas close to corners and trim. He had a vacuum which sucked up the dust, so dust was not a problem. He cleaned up completely after he finished. He was very careful with difficult spots, and the surface looks great. I am very pleased with the result and would recommend him highly. The price was quite reasonable.

It went very well. It took a little longer than I expected but it was worth the wait.

Ken was very friendly and professional throughout the entire process. He returned my calls promptly, gave me a rough range as to what the repair might cost, and then scheduled a date that worked well with my schedule. After evaluating my countertop material (it was not Corian, but a product like Corian that has a very thin coating sprayed on top), Ken spent about 1.5 hours sanding the damaged area. He sanded as much as he was comfortable sanding, given that the surface coating was so thin. Now you can hardly tell there was a damaged area and he did a good job of feathering the sanding to avoid creating a noticeable ridge. He cleaned up after himself and at my request, prepared an estimate to replace my countertops. It was a pleasure doing business with Ken and I will use him in the future for any countertop-related work.

Great, A+ service, very cooperative, came on time, countertops finished when promised and installed very professionally. I am happy with the service received.

WilsonArt SSV is no longer made. It is an inferior product and there was a lawsuit stemming from the fact that it frequently cracks. Ken was recommended by a contractor I contacted. Ken is familiar with the SSV and its shortcomings. He explained that there were 3 different ways to repair this crack. I went with the cheapest. Ken advised me against it, told me to expect that it wouldn't last forever and said this method was not warranted or recommended. I went with it anyway, the better repair would cost over $300. I really appreciate the level of explanation Ken gave me. Nothing was left to chance. He made sure I was making an informed decision and let me know his opinion of my decision. I thing he really takes pride in his work.
