In December 2015, they came out to install a security lock because someone was getting into my house. At that time, I was double charged for the $230 installation. I had to jump through hoops to get them to send back the extra $230 that was charged in error.   After installation someone has gotten into my house several times. Recently I noticed things were missing in my home even after the new lock was installed. I called the owner, who wasn?t in, and the receptionist told me I must have forgotten to lock the door or gave my key to someone. The owner called me back when I wasn?t home and I returned the call when I got home. The receptionist told me the owner would be in at 9:00. I received a call back from the owner. During this conversation the owner let me know the bolt is longer than the previous which should add extra security. It?s actually the same length. Then she told me it?s not longer, it?s heavier. This is when I brought up being charged twice in December. She denied the double charged having happened. However in the subsequent days she called Direct Express at 1am to issue the $230 refund.  

I brought up the double charge in this morning?s conversation. She accused me of multiple phone calls and harassment. She threatened to call the police on me and hung up. I have called them again. When I called, I told them someone keeps getting in. They said if we send somebody out again, they will have to charge me again.

When I was going to pay for the service, I was going to go the ATM to pay him in cash, he didn't want to wait so asked me for my debit card, then took down all of my debit card information and went into his van. He double charged me on my debit charged, and used it as a credit. On Dec 29th, Santees deducted $231, on Dec 30th he deducted $142.83, and $87.47. I went to the grocery store, and didn't have any money on my account. I had to come home with no groceries due to this. I called Santees and Brian yelled at me and said don't accuse me if you don't have any proof mail in your statement, which would require me waiting for my debit card company to mail it from California which would take 7-10 days. He yelled at me and was mean. I have to close down my card and wait for a new card. I also have to pay for expedited shipping fees so I can use it sooner, which I need to.

The entrance doorknob was 40 plus years old and the doorknob and latch broke and were jammed. The door could not be opened. I called Santee and they scheduled an appointment for the same day in the afternoon. An hour later I received a call and was told they finished a job early and could be out within the next 30 minutes. Mike from Santee arrived right on time. He was very professional and was able to get the door open and removed the damaged latch. He then installed a new doorknob and latch that I provided. The service was great and the price very reasonable. Would definitely use again.

Very well and very fast

Price was really good to have the locks changed and have new keys made compared to the others I called to get rough estimates for. The only problem I had with them was purchasing hardware (we wanted keypad deadbolt on one door). They wanted about 200 bucks including the install. The same deadbolt costed 109 bucks at Lowes. They were taking in way too much profit. So I ended up buying it on my own and taking it to their location to have the lock setup correctly with the new keys. They then took over an hour to change it, not sure why. Just don't buy the hardware from them and you will be fine!

Service was great. Called early in the morning, repairman called back quickly and arrived early for the appointment. Mike the locksmith was able to quickly repair the door knob and lock and did a fantastic job. Would gladly recommend to anyone in need of locksmith service.

Santee Security answered all of my questions and addressed every concern I had about installing a deadbolt lock. The locksmith was very professional and finished the installation in a very short time. He also provided some excellent advice about deadbolt locks and how to get the most for your money. I would strongly recommend Santee over other firms in the area.
