Description of Work: Last fall I needed to get some extra framing done for large two art shows that were to be going on simultaneously. Rick provided very good guidance and did excellent work. He was enthusiastic and made a great effort to help me meet a tight deadline. I strongly recommend his shop both for custom framing and for his fine collection of photographs and prints.

 + 0 more.Every experience we have had with Rick has been totally satisfactory. We once had some old paper documents photographed and then Rick restored some barely readable printing. The photos are freamed and displayed. The original papers, from 1864, are in a safe place. Another very satisfactory experience with a very talented artist.
Description of Work: We have had Rick remat and reframe many items for us over the years. The most recent was rematting two prints. We second the comment of another review-he is simply excellent in his ability to pull the right colors for matting. His frame work is outstanding, too. Years ago, we had an antique, worn frame "rebuilt". Then, a photo was matted and framed in the anique frame. Rick promised he would do the best job possible. When we picked it up, he was upset that he couldn't get all of the corners square because the wood was so warped. We reassured him that was one of the reasons we bought the frame-it had the look we wanted, but was ready to fall apart. He still wasn't happy even tho we were delighted. He is a perfectionist, and takes pride in his work.

 + 0 moreWe have been going to him for 25-30 years. Everything he does is great. He is fantastic at picking out matte colors and frames for the artwork. He has a large selection of frames and mattes to pick from. He does all the work himself. He is very good at his job! Prices depend on the work being done.
Description of Work: He frames, mounts, and sells art and does photography, as well.
