 + -1 moreThe team started ahead of schedule, but we had some delays along the way. Scheduling, Hurricane Sandy and some unexpected difficulties extended the project quite a bit. This evening it was 60 degrees outside, so we walked out on the new deck, turned on the new exterior lights and enjoyed our construction. Although there were difficulties, the team was very professional. The carpentry team was very patient and talkative with their audience of small children watching and talking through the windows. Mr. Dever was regularly questioned and patient with the interest of our 7 year old! Everyday someone compliments our new construction. I can't wait to see it in the spring with new landscaping! Sonya

 + -1 moreIt did not go very well at all.The project did not get started on time as we discussed.I had told him from the begining I was planning a party for my son and I needed the patio finished. I contacted him in May and he never got started till August!.He was very difficult to work with and very condisending. He blamed all delays on me, and only finally started the project when I threatened I wanted my money back.I would not recommend him.
Description of Work: He was the contractor I hired to build my patio.He did get a fabulous concrete guy and architect to design the patio. But not worth the money I paid him and the aggrevation.He treated me like a child.

 + -1 moreJACK DEVER IS VERY RESPONSIVE, PUNCTUAL AND PROFESSIONAL AND AS A GENERAL CONTRACTOR, HE MAKES SURE THAT THE INDIVIDUAL CARPENTERS, ELECTRICIANS, ETC., THAT HE HIRES ARE AS WELL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND JACK DEVER TO ANYONE FOR GENERAL CONTRACTOR SERVICES. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT HE NOW OFFERS HOME MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES AS WELL.
Description of Work: JACK DEVER SERVED AS GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR AN EXTENSIVE REMODELING OF MY POOL HOUSE AND THE REPLACEMENT OF A VERY LARGE FLAT ROOF AND ROOF DECK.
