E R Gumbert Remodeling

He was very prompt and did a very nice job with the work that he had to around our front door and around our roof, on our dormers in our roof. He replaced a lot of wood that was rotted. He cleaned up very nicely and was very courteous. The quality was very good and he was very professional in how he approached the job and us, quoting and everything.

Gumbert was able to get the parts he needed to show up and do the work. He worked about 3 or 4 hours. He did the work the day he was here in a timely fashion. He came out to look at the job before he came back. I thought he did a good job. I thought his pricing was in the ball park with everyone else. I had no problems. Anytime the plumbing doesn't leak, that's a plus for me. He was here when he said he would be. He cleaned up, and put down drop cloths, and I liked that. I was happy and would use E.R. Gumbert again.

The HVAC company was not able to cut an access hole into the wall, so I was referrerd to Eric by another Angie's List company. He came once to evaluate what needed to be done and then again to actually do the work. He was willing to talk directly with the HVAC service tech to make sure he understood exactly what needed to be done. He flexed his schedule to accommodate the HVAC company so that the service tech could work with him at the same time to make sure the hole was in the right place. It turned out that the job was more complex than just cutting an access hole in the wall. Eric did a really neat job and even set up the hole as an access panel in case the gas valve needed to be reached again.
