Tom was on time and very professional. He did a wonderful job transforming our dirt piles into a yard.

From the first meeting with Tom, you could tell he knew what he was doing and he was an extremely nice man. He did what he said he would do, on time and within budget. I had 3 other contractors out to my house for estimates and Tom had the most through explaination about why my yard was not draining well and was the only person that did not recommend putting in a french drain. You could see him visualizing the project while he was explaining it. He cleaned up after himself and even found me someone to re-seed the lawn afterwards (the grass grew back very lush and beautifully).

Tom is a master on the bobcat. It was incredible to watch how quickly he got the job done. He only needed the laser level once in awhile to make sure the drop was where he thought it was. He did our backyard in two days with a half day for final grading. On short notice he also delivered creek stone to fill the swales to create dry creek beds. On top of his work, he knows how to solve a drainage problem. He said french drains would be overwhelmed by a heavy rain, and recommended a berm with swales. He was right. A month after the job, we had a massive, 10 year rain in July. His system worked perfectly, dumping an unbelievable amount of water along my property line and out to the storm sewer at the street. There's NO WAY french drains would have worked. All my neighbors with French drains had flooded basements. My basement was dry, and my sump pump never even had to turn on. I recommended him to every one of my neighbors who asked. I was quoted thousands more for French drains around the entire periphery of my backyard. I'm glad I passed and went with Tom and his system of berms and swales used in grain fields, etc.

He showed up on time. He worked all day and half of the next day to complete the job. I rarely seen him take a break. He was very detail oriented. While he was out hear he dug the hole to burry my propane tank also. He did not charge me extra for that because he was already out here with the equipment.
