Ferrato's Heating & Cooling

This was the first time we used Ferrato's HVAC. Since installing our furnace 10 years ago someone else serviced it. We have never been happy with how our Aprilaire performed, yet each tme we were told by the other service company there was nothing wrong. Ferrato's show up, on time, and within 5 minutes says, "yes, there is something wrong with Aprilaire. It's not getting the water flow it should and the solenoid valve was broken and they replaced it. We are very pleased and will continue to use them for all our HVAC needs.

They came on time and cleaned up their mess.  They were great.

It went fine. He did his job and explained things to me. I wasn't sure what was wrong with the humidifier and was happy it was an easy fix.

I received a quote for $945.00 on Friday 10/25 and was flabbergasted! My husband said, and quot;no way.and quot; We ended up calling a reputable company who came out right away, diagnosed the problem and promptly fixed the furnace, gave it a thorough cleaning, changed filter in humidifier, including service charge...cost $432.00. Compared to $1,095 from Ferrato's! I'd say we were getting scammed. There was nothing wrong with our circuit board, but did need a new inducer motor.
I will tell all my friends about this bad experience to warn them. There was a huge power outage last week which did not effect us, but possibly was an opportunity for,some companies to make a fast buck. That's exactly the type of company you don't want to deal with!

We have enjoyed Ferrato's prompt service for over a dozen years. When they come out for a seasonal checkup they never try to upcharge or sell a replacement unit. The office staff is extremely cordial and makes scheduling easy. They are always prompt-- with a call to say they're on the way-- and neat, preventing messes with protective materials and cleaning everything up afterward. The few times we've needed emergency attention (doesn't everything always happen on the weekends?) they came out immediately and got the job done with no fuss. It's obvious they care about their business.

They came on time, finished the job, and left. They were great and there were no problems.

The 2 installers arrived at approximately 8:30am as promised. They immediately started working disconnecting the old unit and removing it from the property. The new unit was put in place and all new wiring and hoses installed. Cleanup was performed when the job was finished. The total operation took approximately 5 hours.

The total project went very well just as Ron Ferrato said it would. 2 installers arrived at 8:30am which was the time I was told that they would arrive and immediately started placing covers on the basement steps and began discontecting the old furnace. The workmanship was very good and a complete cleanup was performed when the job was finished.

They are very professional and thorough. Our water heater has issues, and the technician told that no point to replace a controller because the heater is old. They do not sell equipment, only services and installation.

The owner is very professional and friendly. He was very willing to accomidate and I can't say anything negative about any of the staff. They were very careful to lay out clothes so that there was no mess left behind. They were also very timely and efficient.

The technician was professional and prompt. He was very familier with these 18 year old systems by Lennox. He was able to clearly explain what he found, and how he corrected the problems to my satisfaction. Paid by credit card. A few days later, a compressor capacitor went bad, once the system was again running on one unit. They did not charge for a 2nd service call, just the part needed.

From phone call to follow up service Ron runs a great business. Angie is very helpful in the office. Kenny our service tech has always been very good to work with. He services five locations for us each season. New installations go on without a hitch. They are my first and only phone call for HVAC. The only thing I wish is that they used email to schedule/set up appointments.

They are always on time and professional. The price fit into our budget. They cleaned up the entire work area when they were done. They are very pleasant to work with, very nice when they come in. They take their time and do the job right. I will continue to use them.

Ferrato's did an absolutely terrific job! The system was sized properly, installed with all duct joints taped and sealed, and the technicians deployed tarps to protect all work areas. They were exceptionally neat and thoroughly professional. They dismantled the old furnace and air conditioning system and hauled the equipment off site for disposal. They were thoughtful in their consultations with me to assure that the new ducting (PVC piping) was routed to accommodate my needs. They installed a new Lennox high-efficiency system (furnace and air conditioning) that warms and cools the home more uniformly and comfortably than we could have imagined. Overall, they did a thoroughly professional job. We easily recommend them highly. Ron Ferrato always returned phone calls and e-mails promptly. Finally, Ron periodically stopped to check with me to assure that I as satisfied with work progress and that he was satisfied with the installation effort.
