I am so incredibly impressed by the amazing work that Richard Mott and his team at American Roofing did for me and my husband! We just moved into a new house in July '14 and that 2014-15 winter, we received interior water damage because our old roof was damaged. It was a nightmare! First of all, let me say that I have never had a contractor be so diligent in returning my calls and emails, and thoroughly answering all of my questions with patience and understanding. Every other roofer and contractor we spoke with would leave us waiting for days, if not weeks and would have us calling back time and time again just trying to get an appointment or to receive a quote. Secondly, American Roofing fit us into their busy schedule and completed the work in literally two business days. Seriously, two business days! In addition, they cleaned up quickly and left no mess. They also brought a trailer with them so when the crew needed to use the restroom they had one in the trailer (no port-a-potty!). This is an extremely classy business, and one that is incredibly rare to the construction industry. Richard Mott, the owner himself, was up on our roof working hard and supervising his employees making sure that everything was done properly and promptly! Not to mention that the quote he gave us was competitive with every other quote we received from other roofers.  I honestly can not say enough great things about this Richard and American Roofing! If you want the job done right, go with this honest and caring professional!

Our house was not going to go one more year without a new roof. They tore off the old roof and installed the new roof. The crew was very professional and prompt. Our house is tri-level. Answered phone immediately, worked promptly. Came in under estimate. Fit us into their schedule. We had not even asked, and he installed a roof vent. tied into the two upstairs bathroom vents, which was fantastic, because there had never been one installed before, and all that moisture was being fanned into the attic instead of outside. . Cleaned up afterwards. It was fabulous, a very good experience, and we have a beautiful new roof.

The job went really well. Mr. Mott and his crew were on time and immediately went to work on the roof. Everyone was very professional and worked as a team. The best part was, they left the place neat and tidy!
After the job was completed, I called Mr. Mott twice with questions regarding the roof. Each time, he was very patient and answered all my questions, in detail.

Richard Mott was easy to work with, providing a detailed estimate and answering all questions. His pricing was in line with other estimates I received, and he did not try to recommend additional services in order to increase the total cost. He was realistic in telling me when he could perform the work during the busy roofing season and his team arrived on schedule. His employees were hard working, responsible and easy to communicate with. They were very careful and methodical in removing the old roof, cleaning up as they went. The job took two days and when it was completed, the left the yard tidy, shrubs and gardens undamaged. Although I expect this roof to last for many years, I would not hesitate to call American Roofing again for related projects such as gutters.

From quote to tear off to re-roofing, it only took a couple days--and this included replacing several rotten sheets of plywood and installing three new skylights.

The owner of the company came to the house, he was very professional, provided all the knowledge and he did a great job. I was very impressed.

We were really happy with the work that they did. They could have done a little bit better but we were happy overall.

They did a phenominal job at keeping the work area tidy and they were prompt. They started work as soon as I placed the deposit and finished right on time. They were right down the middle as far as price goes, they didn't try to sell me extra things. They were honest about me not needing new gutters.

Anthony's team replaced my roof and gutters in just over 3 days. They were very competitive in their pricing. Anthony great job including working with my insurance company (State Farm) to ensure that things went smoothly with the install and getting coverage for my hail damage claim. Anthony did not try to oversell and provided options for gutter screens that were high quality and fit my budget. The team was thorough, friendly and did a great job of cleanup throughout the effort. He could have easily convinced me to replace areas that I had concerns about - chipped flashing, sheeting under the tiles, etc. - but made recommendations based on the fact that the wood available today is not as high a quality as what was originally installed in my house (built in 1958). Greg was the foreman and did a great job of fixing the routing of my gutters that improved drainage in the backyard - versus simply replacing what was already there. My roof and new gutters look great and I would highly recommend Anthony and American.

Richard Mott is a great guy. He sends out his e-mails at 6:00 a.m. every day. Customers are always fully informed. He is completely honest. The other roofer said that the entire roof had to be replaced at a cost of $15,000. Richard did a "tune-up" for $500 and said the roof should last 4 to 6 years more. He didn't change his price when replacing the soffit vents required more manpower than anticipated. I didn't remember when I called him recently that I had contacted him two years ago about another problem. He was also completely honest then. He discussed the problem knowledgeably. No high pressure tactics. Nothing was done at that time, but I was impressed.

Mr Mott came when he said he would, did a beautiful job left no mess. The fee was exactly what the ck was made out for plus my deductable. I am very pleased with the work and the men who performed it, they were pleasant and left no mess. This is the second time this company has worked on my house, they installed a skylight about 20 yrs ago which has never leaked. I would recommend them and have .

They did excellent work and they did it promptly.

Overall, this was a bad experience. American Roofing was recommended to me by a good friend. I went way beyond being patient with Mr. Mott. I still can't believe almost three years has passed without a simple job being done. I am not sure what Mr. Mott's real problem was. Maybe I was too small a job. I would not recommend American Roofing.

They did a nice very nice job.

They were on time and finished the work better than expected. The clean up with all the nails, etc. was outstanding. He did a walk through after job was completed and showed me all the little details that you normally don't see from the street. The crew that came out was professional and very respectable. The company trucks were clean and well kept. He made no compromises or substitutions when it came to the job. He did the job exactly per his quote.

Their prices were average, work looks good, they were nice people and were fairly neat. They also did a good job.

There was a small leak and I called them at 7am to let them know, they were out there 20 minutes later to fix it. The owner is a hands on owner working as hard as his crew. I had 4 or 5 other estimates and this was the best. He also had other offers like a 6 ft ice guard when a 3 ft is standard. He also brought about 300 names and addresses of the work he had done in my area.

They were excellent. They gave me a list of references of jobs they'd done so we could look at them. They also followed up.

Mr. Mott was prompt and informative about costs and products. The work was completed as promised and we are very satisfied. His crew was well-trained and efficient.

The thing that impresses me was that the owner took the time to answer all of my questions, I am very satisfied! I would recommend them to others.
