I ordered new carpet from Watson this past summer. I was very insistent that I have a moisture barrier pad put in (due to an aging dog). I clearly communicated this to three people on three separate occasions (Richard; the salesman, John; store manager, and Art; installer). All three said I was getting a moisture barrier pad. They installed their standard pad anyway and tried to tell me it was a moisture barrier pad. After I discovered it was a standard pad by bringing a sample of the pad to other carpet stores, I confronted them, John told me "there is no such thing as a waterproof pad". Of course this was never mentioned before I ordered it. They just figured I would never know. After calling the manufacturer of their "Emerald Green" carpet pad, I was told that the manufacturer makes no claims of water resistance at all. So I was blatantly lied to by all three employees. I contacted the owner, Michael Weber and explained the situation. To his credit, he did agree to order the pad I had asked for and come out and pull the carpet up and install the pad and lay the carpet back down. Pulling carpet up and reinstalling over a thicker pad does not leave the carpet looking so good. Seams are showing everywhere and corners will not stay tacked down. I appreciate them trying to correct the problem but the whole experience was horrible. Lots of nicks in the woodwork and a crack in the bathroom grout (but maybe that is to be expected from carpet companies). Home Depot did it the first time and did a great job. I will never go with a small local company again for carpet.

Company was completely unwilling to work with us to try to schedule this (fairly large and expensive) project. Michael, whom we spoke to, said he wouldn't meet with us on a Saturday (although they advertise Saturday appointments) because it's baseball season, and was unwilling to meet with us any weekday past 5:30 because he did not want to drive home later than that. Very unprofessional. Maybe they are doing well enough that they don't need the business, but I can't imagine turning down eager customers like that just because you don't feel like inconveniencing yourself in any way. Was hoping to have Stark carpet installed, which is not a cheap product. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Mike and Brian arrived on time and were very efficient and professional. Did a great job and we were very pleased with the results. I definitely would recommend this company  and will use them again.

They were punctual, professional and very detailed. The carpet looks great. I have called a couple of times with care questions and have gotten lovely, patient answers.

The most professional carpet company ever! The installers were neat and careful with newly painted walls, etc. They finished the job in one day! They cleaned up and were just amazing!

They gave us and estimate. They measured and inspected before they put the carpet down. They were very honest with us. They arrived a few minutes early to put it in. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very careful with their job. They were respectful.
