I tried to get 3 bids. All three companies were quite busy with orders. One could not give me an estimate in a reasonable time. The other two company estimates varied by $1,000.00 for exactly the same product. We went with the lower bid and expanded the scope of work to be done. The installation team was great, despite problems along the way. Demolition took an additional day as the old glued down flooring was very difficult to pry up and they were one man down with a sick day. The on-site foreman is a great contractor. He made sure the job was done right, doing even more work than the higher bid would promise. He watched the details despite the office pushing him to be done ASAP. I know he was between a rock & hard place and his attention was always to give the customer top quality work. There was a communication problem with the Sales Office due to my expanding the scope of work. I attribute it to normal problems having any work done during a busy season. There was a lot of leaving messages instead of direct dialogue. Tile look flooring was ordered for 2nd bath instead of wood look vinyl. This meant the workers were a box short of completing the job. Stephano, Installation Manager, jumped on solving the mix-up right away. One box was exchanged for the wood look product. The job was expected to take 2-3 days, when it actually took 5 ... primarily due to the team being one man down due to illness. The job is not done yet, as we are waiting for delivery of product. This means our Guest Bath is partially done and the toilet had to be removed to lay the floor ... so we have one less bath probably for 2 weeks. This is NORMAL whenever you have major renovation done in your home. Always start a project with your sense of humor intact. It's an inconvenience that is irksome when it happens, but the company and it's workers have been excellent throughout the process. Early 2019 will be Phase 2 - Living/Dining Rm, Kitchen & Laundry. They were very good in giving advice on the type of carpeting I should purchase and the installation was great.  My only disappointment is that I had to call each time to get the current information on when the carpeting was coming and into the store when it would be installed.  However, I would certainly purchase from there again.

When I had not heard anything by 10/16, I called the store.  They had no information, but left a message for Alecia to return my call.  When I still had no call late the next afternoon, I called her number.  She told me the blind had never been ordered.  When I called the day before, she checked for the order, realized the person responsible for ordering hadn't done it, and placed a rush order.  The new expected arrival date was while we were going to be out of town, so I requested the day after our return.  Tom, the installer, called on 10/17 to set up installation for 10/28.  He arrived exactly on time and did an excellent job of installation and explaining how to operate and care for the blind.  He also reset the furniture that was moved for installation.
I had checked Angie's List before I originally visited the Pucher's showroom in Westlake and had seen a negative review because a customer's order did not make their deadline.  Since I didn't have a deadline, I didn't think that would be an issue.  However, I never received any apology or offer of compensation for the delay.  Had I not called the store when I did, I imagine we would still be waiting.  My order was only for one window, but I would like to think that each customer would be equally important, regardless of the size of the order.

The job went effortlessly on both our parts.

Took~ 4.5 days. Installation crew consisted of Brandon (crew lead & Master carpet layer) & 2 helpers. Job done was superb. Needed transition from kitchen to great room as great room originally carpeted and old kitchen linoleum left down. Brandon built a sloping transition out of a resin that he laid down at junction of rooms and feathered out and across walkway opening. Has held up brilliantly. He also mitered boards to project under the great room hearth which was originally touching the carpet but not the sub-flooring. Cannot see any gaps. Brandon very friendly and helpful.

Everything was fine.  There was one small problem with the carpeting coming up.  They promptly repaired for no charge.

Mari Ann is who I work with and she has spent so much time with me, helping me pick just the right color and narrowing down the choices getting everything together. She is such a huge help. I would highly recommend them.

I was referred to Puchers by a family member as we recently purchased a new home that needs window treatments on every window in the house. I had a great initial consult around mid-November with one of their designers. She made some beautiful recommendations, which she told me would be no problem getting before December 24th. I was thrilled and excited about that since I was having 20 people at the house that day. As soon as she left my house that day it all went down hill from there. I had to follow up with her on everything, phone calls were never returned and she was impossible to get a hold of. Pieces were delayed and still no phone calls to let me know that not everything would arrive before the 24. It is now the 27th and the installer informs me that another panel is still not ready. My sales rep never called to inform me that he would need to come back a third time to install the last panel. I even told her how disappointed in the service I was getting from her hoping that she might redeem herself, but nothing has really improved since that call. I told her that I completely understand when things get delayed - some things are just out of her control, but customer expectations cans be controlled and a simple phone call letting me know the status of my purchase would have gone a very long way with me. I spent over $2000 with Puchers and unfortuntately I got $1 worth of service. I just think that's terrible. I wish now I would have looked into other decorators. As I write this, I still do not have everything I ordered. I am sure it will all be beautiful when it's done, but it was not worth the money. I have 8 more windows that need treatments still - I would never go back, nor would I recommend to a friend.

I stopped in Pucher's Westlake store and worked with Sherry to review different window blind options.  She was very helpful and knowledgeable.  She had good suggestions for the different rooms and window/door configurations.  Since I had approximate sizes, she was able to give me estimates on different styles right in the store.  She arranged for Tom to come out to measure.  He showed up on time and was professional and knew his product.  He asked appropriate questions and took good notes.   A few days later, Sherry called to give me firm pricing & delivery estimates.  She let me take home samples to make final color selections.  The blinds weren't inexpensive, but did include free measuring/installation, so I thought the overall pricing was good.   A few weeks later, as expected, Tom called to arrange an installation date.  The date arrived and Tom showed up on time with all the appropriate blinds & supplies.  He went right to work.  He cleaned up as he went along, so there was no mess.  When he was done, he showed me how all the blinds worked and answered my questions. 
It was a painless experience.  I'll definately use them again and would reccommend Puchers - Westlake. 

I have used Pucher’s before years ago and I was very happy. This time I was not that happy with the delivery of the tile. I ordered it in June and it was promised in two to three weeks. I never got it until the middle of August. It wasn’t their fault but it was the manufacturers fault. But because of that, I haven’t got the tile installed. I can’t blame them but I was kind of disappointed. They apologized but they didn’t keep me updated and I had to follow it up with them. I think that their price was high about the installation and that’s the reason I didn’t go ahead with their estimate.

The work was done quickly and they cleaned up afterthemselves.

Pucher's Decorating Centers did an excellent job.  They were very professional.  I actually started my search in their store and picked out what I wanted.  They sent someone after the I made the purchases to come to my home to measure. They were very knowledgeable and made helpful suggestions. The carpet installed is very durable and they recommend the right kind. We have yet to replace the carpet, the only maintenance was a shampooing.  I would defiantly recommend Pucher's Decorating Centers

When I went into the store, I enquired about seven times and each time the lady was more than willing to help me.  They threw samples on the floor.  They were just wonderful.  The people, who did the job, did a good job.  They cleaned up after themselves.

I needed to replace my living room carpet. I needed to find a place that not only sold good quality made carpet but, would provide good information/suggestions. Bill Sanders was very helpful. The men who installed thecarpet were prompt and did a nice job. I was very nervous about this purchase and I am glad that I went with Purchers instead of a discount or big box store.

I brought a few pictures of the kitchen and bathrooms with me but I wasn't sure what I wanted and Sherry asked a few questions and went through a lot of samples with me.  Based on my reactions to the samples we narrowed the choices down to a few, which I took home with me.  Sherry was very helpful and patient. The installer came out and measured then Sherry got back to me with a price.  I placed the order and once the product was in the installer came out and installed the flooring. The new flooring looks great and made a huge difference in the overall appearance of these rooms.

I suspect I could have gotten a better price elsewhere but the sales person was very helpful in helping me select a carpet to match what is adjacent to it.  The installer called and showed up when scheduled.  Overall, very professional.

It turned out very well. I am very pleased with the result. They were very punctual, worked hard, and discussed how they were going to complete the job and did it very well and withen a reasonable amount of time.

Overall pleased with service and professionalism of installers. One of the blinds broke and they had it replaced asap at no cost.

I will use Pucher’s again and again and again! I wish they did more than just flooring, window covering and paint. I think they are very good.

I went to Pucher's and told them I needed a painter. I was given a few cards and I called Mike Sopko. He was available immediately. I needed the job done in a timely manner. I provided the paint,toilet,and doorknobs. I paid him to purchase the materials to widen my door in my pantry. He did a great job! Whenever I asked him about the work in my condo he was very helpful and informative. He also re-caulked my bathtub surround. Overall I had a very good experience.

They also installed the carpets. Sidney was the person who worked with me and she did a fabulous job of helping me pick colors for paint and carpet. She was wonderful. I had another company do the painting work, but she did recommend people to do the work. She did an absolutely fabulous job and I loved what she did for me. I was so happy with the work that they did three months ago, that I went back and bought another carpet from them two months ago. The entire project cost me $3000. I will use them again in the future.
