Unfortunately, the service I received during the following eight months was disappointing and frustrating. Based on my experiences and the level of service I received, I would not recommend them. In addition, the seven percent commission was unjustifiable.
1. On more than one occasion, I emailed and/or telephoned Michelle and she was slow to respond or did not respond at all. At times, there would be no response until I inquired about why I had not received a response. Of course, that is when she would make excuses.
2. Michelle emailed me in September (I signed the contract in April) that she does not respond to emails after 5:00pm Saturday until the following business day. She never mentioned this during her presentation.
3. The house received only 11 showings for rental or purchase despite being listed seven+ months. The house, priced as suggested by the real estate agent, is only 11 years-old, is in very good condition, has many upgrades and is located in a quiet, clean neighborhood. I never received a response when I inquired why there so little interest.
4. There was no offer for the home until I told a friend who contacted his real estate agent friend that had a client. That client bought the home. It was my network that provided the home buyer.
5. I sent two emails on two dates to indicate that the final water bill hold was extremely high for my vacant home. Michelle agreed to make an adjustment though on the final HUD-1 form little had changed. She never communicated there was an issue with my request to lower the final water bill hold. It just never happened. I never received a response when I asked why the final water bill hold was never adjusted.
6. After the house sold and the title transferred, neither Michelle nor Ohio Real Title verified that the new status was visible on the Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer?s website. Since the transfer was NOT visible, I had to contact that office to verify the transfer and request they update the website. Without the update, it would have been impossible to terminate water/sewer service as the City of Cleveland Division of Water would have never sent the final bill. Though I emailed Michelle inquiring about a few doubts that remained including the water bill, she never responded. NEVER!
7. I contacted Keller Williams Greater Cleveland West broker Greg E. (twice) to share my disappointment with the mediocre service I received. Most recently, he forwarded my email to team leader Michael Z. who claimed that he would contact me to ?go over? my concerns though ?everything? was ?pretty standard.? As you might guess from my list, quality communication and client service are not priorities at Keller Williams Greater Cleveland West as I never received the promised response from Michael Z as agreed.
To sum up it: If you want your concerns to dismissed because it is ?standard?, if you want to be ignored during and after the transaction as it is ?standard? and if you want to not be treated as a valued client, ignore my experiences and select KW GCW.
