Mr. Janesz always answers calls and emails promptly. He presents you with an itemized estimate. The workers show up exactly when he says they will. They are polite, careful, and tolerant of our little dog. I was completely comfortable having them in my home.
The painting was beautifully done.

From the moment I called for an estimate Ed was completely on top of the work , punctual and professional.He gave a written estimate within a week of seeing the job. He was ready to begin work within a week of receiving our OK. Work began and was finished on time. His crew is friendly, with a remarkable work ethic. They were very sweet to our little dog who got in the way once or twice!

My basement was old an outdated and I decided to do a little renovation. I was originally going to put up new drywall, install new carpet, and add recessed lighting in the recroom area. I was going to source each of these services from separate providers. I called JFE to provide a drywall estimate and once Ed and I got to talking, I learned he could provide all of these services himself. I'm a first time homeowner and Ed really helped me identify and understand all of the variables that go into a room remodeling. I felt much more comfortable having one person quarterback the project rather than have three separate contractors working independent from one another.
There is really no other way to put this - Ed Janesz is just a really great guy. I'm normally very apprehensive when contractors enter my home because I always feel like I'm being gouged on price and/or the amount of services I actually need performed. Ed's a straight shooter. Throughout the entire process he gave me a plethora of options to choose from for each aspect of the project and never pressured me to go one way or the other. Probably my favorite part about working with Ed is that he itemized EVERYTHING down to the dollar. By understanding the price pressure points of the project, I was able to get the remodeling work I desired within budget.
Ed's professionalism is unmatched, in my opinion. He showed up on time every single day and was clean and courteous throughout the whole process. He used a couple of subcontractors and you can tell Ed has vetted these guys over the years because their work ethic and professionalism was on par with JFE. When the project started, I was in Europe and Ed came over everyday and worked diligently while I was gone. He even sent regular emails providing me with updates on the project. He kept me in the loop the entire time. The project was completed on time and at the exact price Ed quoted me when we started. The quality of his work was excellent.
I'm sure you're wondering if Ed is a relative or paid me to write this gushing review. I assure you that is not the case. Ed exceeded my expectations in every way and has earned future business from me down the road.

tear-off went fine.the shingles that the contractor originally brought to replaced those removed did not match those on the roof,contractor took the time to return to supply location and determine correct shingle to install. he communicated with the home owner from the supplier to ensure the proper shingle was purchased.entire job took less than 5 hours

It turned out alright, we just happened to go with another company.

They were able to do it without rebuilding the entire wall.

The contractor is very helpful and polite. He listened to our problems and the work was done to our specifications. Communication was constant throughout the entire project. The dry-walling job was excellent. The workers cleaned up each day and were very helpful.
