Design Surfaces

I had a very small project to replace a bar top with a cutout for a bar sink. Less than 5 square feet. This was a remnant piece job. Design Surfaces did not make me feel that my job was small. They were great and professional to work with. Measurements and installation were done within two weeks. Very happy with the finished project. Would not hesitate to hire again.

Worst customer experience I have ever had. When purchasing tile I specifically asked if I was able to return unused tile. Our sales person, Paula, said that yes any unopened boxes could be returned. I ordered an extra box of each tile I was purchasing. After the remodel was finished, one box of the floor was unopened and not needed. When I tried to return it, I was told that I couldn't. When I questioned Paula and tried to remind her of our conversation she was rude and condescending. Needless to say I would not recommend this place and I will never be back.

For the back splash completing a major kitchen remodel, we were looking for something different from white subway tiles and all the common mosaic sheets of browns, grays, glass and metal that are available everywhere. Design Surfaces carried a hand crafted subway tile in a color and slightly crackled finish that we had not seen anywhere else. It was Jeffrey Court Atlas - 17 in the color Spanish Moss. Design Surfaces helped us pick out a grout color that complemented both the tile and our painted cabinet color. The dealer provided a list of recommended installers, but we ended up hiring an installer who had many outstanding reviews on Angie's List.

The granite counter top is beautifully done and the service was quick. I am more particular but they were not able to give me options but the service was good. They were quick, professional and answered all the questions. They were very prompt.

I had a terrible experience with this company. Make sure the pieces you request that you are getting. You may see some hairline cracks but not cracked all the way through the piece of material. During my building process I did not buy all my materials here and at one point I was told that I am not buying no more materias so I am wasting their time.
Customer service is the key to any company and they lack in customer service.

They were very good. They were very professional and very polite.

Eric was my sales person. I simply picked the piece that I wanted and they told me a week to 10 days for completion. I got a call 4 days later that it was complete and ready for installation. The ONLY downside to Design Surfaces is that they do not install their own work. I contracted separately for this and it was no problem at all. Design Surfaces gave me a list of people to choose from and they picked up, delivered, and installed my counter top. Overall....very pleasant to work with.

We had a very good experience and were very happy with their service. They were quite professional, had good prices and gave us some good advice. We were happy with the contractor they recommended. We have family friends that are related to the owners, and that is how we decided to go to them. We would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Our contractor measured the template that went to Design Surfaces. Design Surfaces cut and polished the three pieces of granite for our kitchen. Two of the pieces were very large. They had the granite cut and polished in time for installation. The granite looks great.
