Antique Corner & Good Wood Restoration

spindle matched perfectly & re-glue seems solid. Only problem was time frame - took in mid Sept. and got back 4th of Dec. Thought I gave enough time to get back before Thanksgiving. Have used before (mostly for re-glue) & quality & price are very good. Just need a lot of patience, no rush jobs.

They came and picked up the two tables and took to their workshop. The work took 3 weeks which was reasonable and the price was definitely less than replacing the tables. The finish was great and apart from a couple of marks they were able to get rid of all stains. A great job.

When I was told the chairs were ready for pick-up there were still chips in the paint and some of the joints were still wobbly. They were very apologetic but I wasn't going to trust them with the re=upholstery. I took them home and found someone else to re-upholster the seats. They were fabulous but don't do repairs,

The sanding and refinishing work was OK. The surface repair work was absolutely horrible. Beautiful job of refinishing the table top as well as one extension so that everything matched perfectly.  Their estimate was HALF THE PRICE  of other A-listers on Angies List.  Pick-up was a couple weeks later than estimated, but I specifically said it was no rush - and meant it.  I wanted them to take the time for the best job possible and they did not disappoint.

Owner was fairly responsive and did a good job on a few pieces and that is the only reason they are getting a C, otherwise they wold be getting an F.  However, the last item has been in their possession for over 1 1/2 years.  I have called intermittently about it and have been told that they still have it but have "been busy recently and that it should be done in the next two weeks".  The last time I was told that was 3 months ago.  When I called today I was given the same exact excuse.  We will see if I actually hear from them sometime soon or if we will do this dance yet again.  Maybe there will be a deep deep discount when it takes this long to do a fairly simple job  . . . . .

VERY NICE TO DEAL WITH.

THEY DO BEAUTIFUL WORK, FOR REASONABLE PRICES. MY ONLY CONCERN WAS THAT THEY DID NOT CALL ME WITH A PRICE QUOTE AS PROMISED. SEVERAL DAYS ELAPSED, AND I HAD TO CALL BACK. THE REFINISHER SAID HED TRIED TO CALL, BUT DIDNT LIKE TO TALK TO MACHINES. (I TOLD HIM HE NEEDED TO GET OVER THAT!!) HE DID CALL AND LEAVE A MESSAGE WHEN THE TABLE WAS COMPLETED.
